BUG-A-SALT Bug-Beam

As I wrote in the ammo review, this bug gun has made a huge difference in our summers. We have carpenter bees and for years lost the war, resorting finally to chemicals to get them under control. They would hover around our front porch, back yard, mail box, etc. This gun is easy to use, a good quality, good for the environment, functions well, doing the job of shredding the bees' wings so they will fall to the ground to be stepped on. Either that, or the wings are damaged and they will soon drop and not return. It does kill bugs! And yes, it is fun to use. We've recommended it to our family and friends who have carpenter bees and they now have victory over these pests. Excellent product.

Works like it says having fun killing flies

The media could not be loaded. I was worried about buying this because some of the comments in the review. But with flies swarming the inside of my house every time I opened the door made cause for desperation. I ordered the gun with the laser attachment and Oooo baby it kills these flies up to 8 feet away. I know the distance because my rabbit hutch is 8 feet long and I was killing them while standing on the other side of the hutch. Now that’s a straight forward and downward shots I don’t know the longest distances for upward shots yet.

From my experiences with the bug of salt, this is a great weapon to use against house flies and works in great condition. The only reason I did not put 5 stars is because when you try to aim higher your salt will go out of the hole and into the sides so you cannot shoot well. That’s it, but this thing is great and very fun.

Better than a flyswatter

Great fun to shoot flies, ants and bugs when sitting around the smoker, drinking beer and watching sports.

The media could not be loaded. Calibrate it right and you're good to go. Got this in the fight against spotted lanternflies. I have a graveyard of nymphs.

It’s ok. At 1st it worked for about a week. Just be careful it’s not that durable
