Lovely teapot, a pleasure to use
I enjoy using this teapot. It's lovely to look at, and it has a large lid, so it's easy to use a very large tea ball. Recently, I bought two, which turned out to be made in China, not in England, where they used to be made. The new ones were essentially indistinguishable from the old, though I thought the background color may have been just a bit different from the older Johnson Bros. cream color. Still quite lovely.

two times is a charm
The first teapot I received it was poorly packed and therefore broken when I received it. However, Amazon was quick to replace it! I love the tea pot I hold at least 6 cups of tea and is beautiful.

Looks like an expensive antique pot, works great
I'd been looking ALL over for a tea pot like this one. I love the transferware look,and Johnson Brothers is a very respected line of chinaware.The shape is very traditional, and will go with any classic decor and your real antiques. It makes a fine cup of tea, too. Just lovely. If you know someone who collects antiques or loves traditional English tea, this is a fantastic gift idea.
