Jolmo Lander Stove for US Military Canteen Stainless Steel Army Canteen Stove/Stand

Arrived 10 days after the order was placed, well packaged and with tracking.Very nice stove, finished well and weighing in at 122 grams.As a previous reviewer has mentioned it fits the Heavy Cover mug (with handles folded inside) and the standard stainless steel mug (with the handles folded outside).Inverted, it is ideal for esbit and a trangia (your do need to use a pot support). Right side up, a small fire also works well.Four stars because it is expensive for what it is. Have a look at the Docooler mug,lid and stove set on Amazon for £18.88.

This is great, lighter than the Pathfinder version though still pretty well made, it's taller than the Pathfinder one and a great height for use with an alcohol stove. It's fit on the bottom of every canteen I've tried it with including a big 1.2L stainless steel one so doesn't take up too much room in your pack. Best of all, it costs less money than the Pathfinder version too!

Great piece of kit. Fits the Keith Titanium/ Heavy Cover Military canteen set perfectly. I use mine with an evernew alcohol stove and evernew Ti trivet, with the perforated end of the stove on the ground (on two parallel tent pegs to aid airflow) The trivet gives the optimum height to boil water fast, and the Jolmo Lander provides shelter for the flame as well as concentrating the heat where you need it. I have tried the Jolmo Lander the “other way around” ie open end on the ground, but found that the boil time was greatly increased. Presumably this is because a high proportion of the heat is robbed by the perforated end of the Jolmo Lander, as the flame must pass through it first, before it hits your canteen cup. I have not tried it out with a wood fire yet, so I can’t speak to that aspect, but highly recommended for use with an alcohol stove and trivet. If you have the titanium canteen set, you really can’t go wrong with this item. It’s like it was designed to fit it.
