I ordered in the late morning, and it arrived later that same evening. I charged it up to briefly try it out and was very surprised, it says "punchy" and that it certainly is! I'm very happy with it and look forward to taking it on my travels.

Sound:At low to medium volumes it handles vocals well and has an average soundstage, but compared to others I’ve tested in the same price bracket it lacks the depth of bass and rounded sound that some can produce.At higher volumes everything becomes harsh and unpleasant.The three different EQ settings make subtle changes with ‘3D’ being the better option to my ears.Sound via Aux input is definitely better than via bluetooth.Build:The speaker is very nicely built and has a good array of input options. It has a slightly rubberised finish and one end has a strong articulating D ring. IPX6 is a very high waterproof rating but has not been tested.Battery:Battery life is quoted as 40-52hrs at low volume and 4-8hrs for high volume.Overall:If you don’t need the high IP rating or the USB/TF card/Aux inputs there are definitely better sounding speakers available in the same price bracket. For the connectivity options, as a kids outdoor waterproof speaker or something of that nature it’s not a bad choice.

I use this for my Audio books. It is very easy to set up. And has a nice deep sound.

This speaker arrived in a sturdy box and wrapped in a protective bag, with a set of boxed accessories (cables) and instruction booklet.I ordered this to use with my Bluetooth record player but, unfortunately, I couldn't get them to pair. I have taken to using it with my phone instead, with which it paired instantaneously.The sound quality is great and it can cope with decent volume levels. It has three sound effect modes but I'm struggling to understand how these differ/are accessed.The instructions are a little vague to be honest so I'm just pressing buttons and hoping for the best. The "M" button changes mode but the on/off button also changes colour when pressed so I'm not sure if the two are linked.There are a host of ports for charging, AUX input, TF card and USB flash drive which I'm probably mostly unlikely to use.It's a speaker that essentially offers more options than I need but that, ironically, I couldn't get to do the one thing I wanted.It is a sturdy, well weighted and impressive looking item though and I can certainly appreciate the build and sound quality.At £45.99, at time of review, it's decent value given it's versatility.
