Great price for very useful product. Used to find leak in concealed pipe in claim against builder. Easy to set up and use, clear photos. It has done the job it was purchased for.

I have also used a "dedicated" borescope and the advantage of being able to put the picture where you can easily see it while manipulating the camera separately is a real plus point.

The app that needs to be installed is hit and miss. It takes me several attempts to finally get it working every time.When you finally get it working and record a video - guess what? You cannot share that video as it encodes it in it's own strange native format! If you finally find where it hides the stored video files, then you cannot play them on the phone unless it's through the app.You have to manually copy the file to your PC, find the codec and use something like Handbrake to convert the video to MP4 or similar before you can share the video.The app is an absolute abomination and for that reason I cannot recommend this at all.I tried the App with a Pixel 2 XL and a Nokia 7 Plus.When the app is finally working, this 1200 HD video quality is nonsense. The video quality is pretty poor and the LED lights although look bright, light up only a few CM in front of the camera when I used it.

The WIFI option does not work, whether in the house or away from the house with no other WIFI around you. I read the instructions and tried to download something on my laptop but the instructions did not work. They emailed us with another WIFI app for the phones (both IOS and Android) and still did not work. They also gave me another link for the laptop and even though it was telling me the file was not safe I still tried it...... It did work at this point on the laptop with the score directly plugged into the laptop..... but this is sold as a WIFI enabled scope which fails every time! I managed to get it to work on the lowest 640 res on my phone for about 20 seconds and then it froze again! So in a recap, the onlyu way you can get this to work is to get the company to send you a link that your computer thinks is dodgy as f, but then it does work... but I dont want to cart round a laptop I want to use it with my phone! :(Edit** the company could not apologise enough and sent me a coupon for 99% off a replacement, this one does work with the Wi-Fi, they also sent me a different app to try on it which does work with the new one.. changed to 4 stars now for all the help I got from them 😊

OK THE FIRST TIME THEN WOULD NOT CONNECT

Arrived the next day. The camera was easy to set up and worked well and was easily directed to where we wanted it.
