I like the book a lot and it came on time however for some reason I realized I was sent a well-used book - nothing close to a brand-new item, however I ordered and paid of course for a new item I wanted to enjoy! I'm looking to send it back and I expect to get a new item I paid for!

This is the perfect Christmas gift for one of my dearest friends.

Great photos good stories.

The organization, based on the shape of the lighthouse struck me as a little strange and promoted bouncing all around the coasts... As a professional photographer who has done a great deal of lighthouse photography, I generally wasn't particularly impressed with the photography in this volume. There are some good images but they are in the minority. If you compare this book, for example, to those by the French photographer Philip Plisson, the photography in this volume is clearly inferior. The text is acceptable but not as informative as, for example, "The Lighthouse Handbook - New England" by Jeremy D'Entremmont. This wouldn't be a bad addition to the bookshelf of anyone who loves lighthouses, but it also probably wouldn't be my first choice based on other books that I have and/or have seen.

My wife really enjoys visiting light house location while traveling so this was a great birthday gift. She really enjous it and itlooks great on a coffee table.

My husband and I love lighthouses, so at our wedding we used this book instead of a guest book. Guests were encouraged to sign the book on pages that had lighthouses from their home state, or had meaning to them for another reason. We will forever cherish this book!
