Compact lightweight case

I’ve had thinoptics glasses before in a case that attached to the back of my phone. As an Apple Wallet user I didn’t want to secure something to my phone case, and went with these. Great choice as they fit inside my pocket and I hardly know they’re there. Very glad I purchased!

Where's the money clip part?

Product has the slot and the description says 'The ThinOptics Flashcard Wallet is a revolutionary advancement in the consolidation of your essentials, bringing together your credit cards, cash, ID, and ThinOptics Readers in a durable and compact case that's Always With You.' Meaning you can clip your cc's, cash, and ID to it.

Flashcard holder and Wallet are not the same

The description of the flashcard product should state "without credit card clip". Both the flashcard and wallet look the same in pictures but one has the cc clip and the other does not.

Great size for everyday minimalist carry.

Few years ago I moved from the thick tri fold wallet to a minimalist one. One of the things I could not over come was my failing eye site and the need to carry reading glasses which just added the bulk I lost with my wallet and shifted it to my front pocket for my glass case. Then I found the key fob version of the thinoptics which I have been using for the past year. They were perfect for reducing the bulk and for the moments when I needed to read something. Well as luck would have it I broke the key-fob case and needed a replacement. I found this credit card case and it is near perfect for my needs. while a little thicker than I expected (it is the thickness of 4 credit cards I had read that 2) it fits my Ridge wallet perfectly. If I had a complaint about the case for the glass case that is that they used a rubberized type of coating on one side of the case which makes it drag when removing / inserting into the wallet. As for the glasses, I can read menus, labels on bottles, the fine print on papers, with them without being burdened by a full size set of readers. But understand that these are not replacements for the full size versions that I have sitting on my desk, they are supplements for away from home or the office. I find them comfortable for short stints of use but not for all day which the full size ones are good for.

Fell Apart

The case fell apart in a month and 3 days after purchase (3 days after the return period). Poor quality!!

Lack Overall Durability

ThinOptics are a good idea but they lack durability on a few fronts, and, ultimately, are not a good tool/ value for regular-use reading glasses. As a backup to a good pair of reading glasses, I would give them three stars, that is, if you are to keep them in your wallet or purse and only pull them out occasionaly when you've forgotten your everyday reading glasses. As others have mentioned, the credit card case only lasts so long before it breaks; the nose pieces break off easily, and once the glasses get dirty, they don't clean up well. No matter how carefully you attempt to clean them, using even ThinOptics' directions, they become more and more opaque/ dull. I am trying the Nooz brand but haven't found out yet if they basically have the same problems that plague ThinOptics. As far as durability and the ability to actually clean their lens, the Clic and Prospec brands (regularly configured reading glasses that are at least a cut above the cheap, multi-pack glasses) are doing well so far.

May not fit all noses
