Well, have bought in the past at HD, but was a few dollars cheaper on Amazon.Way to expensive to use on a large area, but works quite well for smaller areas and matching existing texture.The bottle I bought from Amazon was a dud. Went to practice on cardboard like I always do, pushed trigger, sprayed for about 1 second then nothing. Dead. Thankfully AMAZON refunded me for the faulty product. Just went and spent the extra $3 at HD and completed my project.

This stuff is pretty tough to use. They recommend practicing on something, and doing 16 sq ft at a time. But if you insist on buying it, I got better results on my second can, by spraying continuously once I started, except for breaks of five seconds or fewer, to shake the can or switch hands. I used a whole can at once, then waited a few minutes and did the knockdown part. The first time, when I took the recommended breaks, the stuff barely came out of the nozzle at all, and mainly landed on the floor, instead of the wall. I’ll use the other two cans I bought, because I’m in a rush, but I won’t buy it again. This was in a garage, in 73°F, and coincidentally 73% humidity. I also found that the “up to” coverage number assumed a level of texture sparseness that I’ve never seen in real life. With two cans, I did about 60 sq ft total, and it’s still pretty lean. It’s only “good enough” because I’m painting it a dark color and putting a shelving unit (with no back, but lots of garage stuff) in front of it. And because it’s in the garage.

Watch out this product does not always work. The aerosol cans that do work it is a great product. The problem is that about one in four may work. Hard to return to AMAZON

This stuff worked 100% better the the same brand from Home Depot. It's like all of HD supply was damaged or stored incorrectly. All the Amazon delivered cans worked well. It does what it needs to do.

The product works well and would be even better if the spray nozzle was not damaged on both containers during shipping. I was able to use the product with the spray going everywhere which made even more clean-up for me. Please use some packing and protect the plastic nozzles when shipping this product.

It correctly reproduces the knockdown wall texture. However it is a bit cumbersome to reattach the top plastic piece after removing the safety tab each time it’s used.
