Wow! Very impressed!

Wow! This product is above what was expected. It’s completely made of metal (excluding the silicon strips and feet). The dark grey color is beautiful. The dividers are strong yet easy enough to squeeze to place into the slots. The spacing is perfect for what I’ll be using it for. The weight and construction will make this pretty stable. This is an excellent product and worth the money. Just a heads up, though, if you add the dividers while in it’s compact state, you will not be able to extend it unless you remove the dividers and vice-versa if it’s extended and you want to shorten it. Removing or placing the dividers isn’t difficult to do, and they’re pretty steady once placed. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement is to supply 8 “feet” instead of 6. It’s fine if you’re keeping the unit together as one piece, but if you’re using it as two separate pieces then one won’t have all four “feet”.Still, that doesn’t detract from how wonderful this product is. I would buy it again and would recommend to others.UPDATE!I found the extra “feet” they supplied when you use this product as two pieces, so no suggested improvements.

Amazing product!!!

I was SO impressed by this pot and lid organizer. I love how it separates into two pieces, so that you have the option of using it as one long item, or two separate ones. I chose to use it as two separate pieces in my kitchen cabinet - one for the skillets and one for the lids. Extremely well made and sturdy. Looks sleek and elegant. The silicone feet prevent it from slipping and make it feel very secure inside my cabinet. Super easy to put together and adjust. High quality item that has transformed the organization of my cabinet. I can't recommend it enough!!

Does the job.

Very sturdy and works great near my sink. I wish it came with a silverware cup/tray on the side and cup holders (specifically FOR cups. You can put them upside-down on the "U" divider... but come on people. I don't want them clinking my plates. They need their own "option." Side "hooks" or vertical inserts for cups, glasses, mugs and an attached utensil cup)The other downer is you can't simply slide the bottom tracks over each other easily (to increase or decrease the width depending on the need). So it doesn't "open and close" easily. The plate dividers lock into holes in the bottom tracks... preventing them from sliding over each other to open and close. You have to pinch them together so the pin-footings contract while you move it and release in new spot or remove it altogether). So, if you will have to remove a few dividers to change the rack width. It's a minor (they don't "pinch" together to come out of the holes too easily which is good for the sturdiness mentioned, holds big plates, cookware... but is a "process" to lengthen and shorten. Squeezing the dividers together to move or remove them is like squeezing one of those old, two-red-plastic-handles covering a metal 'spring' wrist workout things you then squeeze together to have "yuge" wrists! It's not always smooth sailing due to the "pin-footings" not easily freeing up or aligning with the holes. I feel like I'm playing that game "Operate". And the nose is buzzing-red. A lot. But I just leave it a little bigger than I usually need for the most part so I don't have to change a thing when I throw that get-together I'm never going to throw. Worth the money and minor kinks though.

A Clear Winner!

I have been searching the local housewares stores for something that would help me organize my pots and pans so that they are accessible, protected, and tidy. This product checks all those boxes. While this product was not the least expensive option available to tackle the job, the few extra dollars were well worth it. I say this because I also purchased a less expensive product (Pot Organizer Rack, 7 Adjustable Compartments Cabinet Bakeware Kitchen Pan/Pot/Lid Holder Rack Kitchenware lids Holder Organizer for Cupboard, Cabinet, Drawer, Worktop; Brand: POCREATION) which is not as good. Even at about half the price, it's not worth it if it doesn't get the job done. This product better suits my needs for the following reasons:1. The bases are longer so I can utilize the entire width of my cookware storage. I chose to orient them widthwise to make it easier to grasp the handles and to take them in and out of the cabinet. If you choose to orient the bases front to back or you have super wide shelves, you can keep the bases together and adjust them to fit your space. I found separating them to have one for each cabinet suited my needs best.2. The dividers are heavier duty and fit more snugly in the base slots. This causes the dividers to remain securely upright when the cookware leans against them. With the less expensive option the dividers lean off vertical when you place the cookware on them, which squeezes the cookware in front or behind them and jams them when I try to take one out. That's annoying, and not a problem with this 5-star rack system.3. The shape of the dividers is different. I didn't know that this would be an issue but it is if you also want to store your covers with your cookware. With the 5-star system, the dip in the middle is much lower than in the cheaper system. This allows space for the lid handle to be secured in place with the bottom of the lid settled on the shelf. In the cheaper version, the shallow dip means that the bottom cover edge doesn't reach the shelf because the handle gets hung up too high. That causes the lid to tip forward, causing the flimsier divider also to be pulled forward and jam. As a result, you can't actually use this cheaper system to store your lids as well. Not helpful. Go with the 5-star version that I'm reviewing.Overall, this 5-star cookware rack is heavier duty, well-designed, and effective at its job. And now I can access my pots and pans without emptying the entire shelf to get the one I want. It's a huge win for me.
