Worth for what I paid.
Great product, in my opinion. I was able to connect it to my home internet modem/router, and all my devices were able to detect the wireless network and were able to quickly connect to the network. The signal is strong and stable, so there are no issues with signal loss or slowdowns. Installation was simple and straightforward. I was able to have it up and running in less than 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs an ethernet to wifi adapter.

Reliable and easy to use...
Bought the TP-Link RE205 AC750 model and have been using this product for 2 years now and never had any issues with it... works seamlessly although I have never switched it off in the past 2 years (its connected to inverter) ... It has good range and setting it up is very easy, just follow the instructions... The only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because the internet speed drops by almost half, have not tested through LAN though...

Was doubtful, but it is good. Increased the range & speed. Sep 2021: 5 GHz worked for me, check how.
I had lots of doubts before buying this TP Link 1200 Performance product because reviews were mixed. I already had one TP Link range extender, and it had become around three years old. I had given the old range extender the same SSID as the router. Its range was not good anymore and speed was slow even after replacing the antennas. The placement of my 2.4 GHz Airtel router by Huawei is not perfect. I also read that this range extender needs to be ideally placed within 16 feet of the router to get good speed, and that added to the hesitancy because that would not have served the purpose. The router is placed on the first floor and my earlier range extender was placed on the ground floor, around 30-40 feet away. There are two doors/walls between the router and the range extender, and the floor was not the same. The old range extender was getting around 50% signal from the router on the ground floor. I bought this product with a bit of hesitancy for around Rs. 2200.The product I received was sealed very well, and it was manufactured in October 2020. It has been around one week since I have bought it.It is a small device which can fit into the palm. After receiving it, I plugged it into a socket near the router and used the WPS switch to set it up. After I got blue light for signal, I plugged it into the same socket on the ground floor, where my old range extender was plugged in. I got a blue light for signal after around a minute.I used my phone to check, and it had created two SSIDs, 2.4 GHz one, which ended with _EXT and the other, which ended with _5GEXT, even when my router only supports 2.4 GHz. I first tried the 2.4 GHz signal, and the range was extended, and I was getting half the speed near the range extender than what I was getting near the router. It was still better than the old range extender's speed. 2.4 GHz range was reaching everywhere in the home and signal was good even in the same room where the router is placed. Then I tried the 5 GHz signal, and I started getting more speed than the router from the range extender. 5 GHz signal reached everywhere in the house where I needed it. Speed and signal had really increased. All Fire TV Sticks' YouTube app automatically switched to HD quality. There are lots of devices connected and there is no problem at all. Phones these days automatically connect to the device which is providing better signal strength, so no problem there. I cannot really provide the same SSID to range extender and the router, as extender is providing 2 signals, and I think it is better to keep it that way.To sum it up, I am very happy with the device, as it is working very well so far.Update 1 September 2021: A few days ago, I got my copper Airtel connection replaced with a fiber-optic one. With new Airtel Nokia modem, 5 GHz signal was not picked up by this range extender. As mentioned by many, this range extender only picks up channel like 36 etc. In Airtel Nokia modem, Airtel for some reason, has disabled the functionality to change the channel, and it is fixed to Auto. So I used my computer browser and a simple trick to enable the channel drop-down and changed it to 36 and saved it. It was saved without any error, and the range extender picked up the 5 GHz signal as well, and at the previous distance. 5 GHz signal light is now on and 5 GHz signal is getting extended. I have read that, this trick to enable the channel drop-down in Airtel Nokia modem and saving results in error for some. So it may not work for everyone. But after using it like this, for more than a month, I have realized that, when 5 Ghz signal is picked up by the extender, it very much decreases the extender's speed. So I have put back Airtel router channel to Auto. But in any case, if this range extender does not pick up the 5 GHz signal by default, it still makes the 5 GHz signal available, which is good enough. So this may not be the dealbreaker.

Worthless Product. AVOID!!!
Absolutely useless product. It cuts down your internet speed by 60% and that too when you are right next to it. Go one wall beyond and barely and signals. Completely avoid this product.I made a mistake of not reading that it is not returnable and got scammed. Hating Amazon for this….Trust me it won’t extend signals any better than what your existing router is doing.

Very easy to install, Signal strength is good
First of all I am really disappointed by the seller. They sent me a used Item!First, when I opened up the package I didn't find any warranty card or setup manual. Second, after I plugged in this extender and connected to it, it did not ask me to create a password but instead asked me to enter a password (holy mother god, how do I know the password?). Password was already created. Initially I thought there must be some default password somewhere in the manual but there was no manual. I searched the internet and figured out how to reset the device. Did the reset then set it up, worked wonderfully! But I wasn't satisfied with it because it was a used product. I decided to put it up for replacement and got it replaced. The replaced item was indeed new, it was imported on July 2021 (also had the setup manual). The previous one was in fact imported in 2016, can you believe this! Also, I experienced significant improvement in performance of the new extender, nearly two to three times the bandwidth compared to the previous one. So buyer beware, always check the import dates or the manufacturing date. It should not be too old, one year or less should be fine in case of electronics like this. Always check for the warranty cards and manual should be there inside the brand package.I was also deeply disappointed by the amazon packaging. The replacement item wasn't in proper packaging and was just wrapped by clear plastic with invoice and with the shipping details pasted on it. I was shocked when I saw it. Fortunately the product was in good condition. Now, about the product. My purpose of buying this extender was to extend the Wi-Fi signals to second floor of my house. The setup is like this, Second floor (SF) has only one room and my Dlink DIR-825ACG1 router is on the first floor (FF) in the room just below the room on the SF. So, without this extender the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi signal reach the SF but is quite weak and very unstable. I placed this extender in the wall socket just outside the room on the second floor where the Wi-Fi signal is not that good but stable. Now why I mentioned the router model specifically? Because this particular router has 4 antennas (2X2+2X2 MIMO setup) which gives a very good throughput over long range (2.4Ghz). How this extender helped? Even though if I test the WiFi speed on a mobile phone at the location where I placed this extender, I do not get very good speed probably because my phone's signal reception may not be as good. But this extender's signal reception is very good. Using this extender I was able to increase the bandwidth on the SF room to nearly 50 Mbps both download and upload (I have a 100 Mbps connection), though it fluctuates a lot between 20-50 Mbps probably due to signal interference as its placement is quite far away from the router but the purpose is served. I am now getting reasonable speeds and the stability that I needed to work. Also keep in mind this extender's range is only 500 sqft. Before you get this extender, consider things like capability of your router and to what location you wanna extend the signals. To get the best result you should place the extender halfway from the router and the dead zone you want to cover. Make sure signal reaches to the extender's location and strength should be reasonable (There is an indicator on the extender which will help you to figure out the best location). I mentioned nothing about 5Ghz band because 5Ghz is only good for max throughput on shorter range but very bad on longer range. Over long range 2.4Ghz band is preferred and all the tests I performed are over 2.4Ghz band. I did ran a test on 5Ghz band and result was horrible and it was expected because as I said there are lots of interferences (walls and ceiling) between the router and the extender. 2.4Ghz band is capable of penetrating walls much better than 5Ghz.The image shows the result when connecting to the Wi-Fi over 2.4Ghz band using the range extender.Hope this helps.
