This is an excellent unit. 4 bays is good to have. Using 3 now and when more space needed still have room to grow. Stay with the pre 2025 units. 2025 units limit you to stnology drives and memory. Lots and lots of features. Very advanced. You will need to spend some time learning this and time managing it from time to time but it has any feature you could need in the way of storage for files and media. Working now on setting up the media server to share music on all devices. Have given specific folder access to some family members and business professionals for certain uses. Complicated but secure and robust. Once configured, the mobile app is very handy and had snappy performance. The DS923+ is a definite go-to. Remember this is BYOD. Bring your own drives.
