Don’t like 9s…?….dont like 10’s… these are the BEST…they tune right up tight… they Hold tune but are very limber….they love each other…they sound big but feel very limber…#1….each string comes in its own plastic sleeve…. The sleeve opens with no effort…unlike daddario sleeves which you need to carry a switchblade knife to open it onstage….and you don’t have to guess in the dark if it is your little E string or the B string…. It tells you Right on the package.!,..in big numbers..I put these on an SG with a vibrola…. It tunes right up….in no time…I use the under over tune wrap so that I get a locking function with no jive….this is such a good feeling set..!..The strings are really long…so if you have a reverse firebird you can easily change your little E string and have Plenty of wrap left over…or if you have a bigsby you will still have a mile of string to reach your tuner..These strings are worth the money….trust me…I’m gonna stock up..

I’ve been using Stringjoys for a year or so now and I love them. They sound great, feel great and last a long time. My guitars stay in tune longer and they aren’t super expensive. I would definitely recommend them to other guitar players.

I thought .0095 strings were a gimmick before I got these. Balanced action, balanced tone. I've waited to review these strings to see how long they last and I have to tell you, they are as bright sounding on my Tele and Strat after 3 months as they were after they were broken in. I have not intention of changing them in the near future and will put them try them on my Jazzmaster and SG next. Wonderful strings at a fair price.

Installed these on a D’Angelico Premier Bedford to help liven up the tone without being too bright. It honestly sounds like a different guitar. The installed D’Angelico Electrozinc strings were buzzy and way too bright. The Duncan Designed tele style and mini humbucker have a fuller sound — before they sounded thin and I was debating replacing the pups. With these strings, the tele style single coils have a beautiful, chime-y, full tone. The mini humbucker is getting replaced for something a bit hotter, but these strings make it sound good and keeping me busy until the new pup arrives. I’ve ordered multiple sets for my other guitars and will be changing them out soon. Thank you Stringjoy! These remind me of a regional brand sold during the 80’s and 90’s. When they stopped making them, I thought I’d never be able to find that same tone. My search is over!!!!

D’addario NYXLs have been my favorite strings for years. Decided to give String Joy a try. They seem like pretty decent strings, but I’ll stick with NYXLs

I just put them on a few days ago so I cannot attest to durability. Very nice tone and good “finger feel”.

I had been looking around for string sets having a bit more chime to them than the super-bright-sounding ones I had been using. I don’t play gain-heavy music styles, so I like some glassy-woody-mellow complexities and subtlety in there. On the very first set of these nickel-wound Stringjoys, they had the tones I was looking for and had been told about. As a bonus, they stretched-in very fast and were holding tuning almost immediately. I generally use 10’s on Gibson scale-length and 9’s on Fender scale-length, but the 9.5’s now seem perfect to me on Fenders; hard to say why, just feels right to me, tension-wise. Lastly I like the box they come in, great for keeping old strings or other small items in. Stringjoy, don’t change a thing.
