Idk why all of the sudden after 46 years I'm getting Kanker soars? Extremely painful because it's always at the base of my fn gum/cheek. Anything , esp citrus,Spice cold hot is just devestating.I've tried a few different things, anbesol or whatever it's called had worked the best but just wears off very quickly. I moved fast to hopefully eat something before it wore off.So I wanted to try to find something better. I've definitely found it.This stuff is awesome.So yes, as you may have read when u apply it it burns. A GOOD burn, but I imagine it may be intense for some. I was happy because I knew something was happening. It's not all the others where you hopefully get a lil glob to stay in place long enough to soak in and numb it some.This stuff is thick and adheres to your sore immediately when applied. After it's done you feel what I can only describe as a cotton like cover a 'zapped' sore that has been completely muted.It's there. U can feel that 'it wants to be painful' but it's not.Then came the test.I hadn't ate breakfast today and I wasnt able to take part in tacos last night so I wanted to make some burritos with the left over mix.I had it all in there. Taco seasoned beef, guacamole, cilantro, habenero salsa.As I brought the burrito up my hand was shaKing a lil. I could feel that the sore was super numbed but you never know if some hebenero citrus can creep in. This could be really bad.To my DELIGHT there was ZERO pain. Like I said ,the sore is there, there is always a very mild discomfort because after all there is a sore in your mouth.I've got breakfast down and an hour has passed. It says 6hr but honestly if I had to reapply now..I'd still give it 5 stars. Very happy. Very relieved. I really recommend.

As someone who loves salty foods, I have cankers from time to time. Most have little to impact to my quality of life but every once in a while I have one that hurts or bothers me to the point where I feel like I need something. I was looking on here for something to help me and really wanted to go with some type of patch/bandage but after reading the bad reviews on a few of those products, I decided to go with this product. And I'm so glad that I did.I put a little of the product on a cotton swab and dry the affected area with a paper towel as best I can and try to keep it dry by pulling my lip away from the area. While the area is still dry, I apply the product on the swab and wait about a minute before releasing my lip. I then go about my life as usual. I have had this product last over 16 hours with one application (admittedly in an area that is easy to protect). It does sting a little when first applying but my sore also hurts even when just drying it before the product - hence why I felt the need to buy something to treat and alleviate the pain and why they are called "sores."After cutting the tip off of the tube, it's very easy to apply. You only need a very small amount of product to effectively treat/protect the sore. It does form a protective barrier where applied which lessens the pain and sensitivity immensely. When I eventually run out of this product or it expires, I will be buying more. I've tried several other products over the years and nothing has worked like this, nearly as well as it does and for as long as it does. I will say that if your sore is in an area that is more exposed than my current one, you may need to reapply more often but it does work. Just make sure the area is dry prior to application and kept dry for about a minute after application.

Due to dry mouth and stress, I have been experiencing cheek and tongue bites and numerous canker sores or mucoceles. Who knows which? I have tried every otc on the shelves and every natural remedy known. All help. A little. And for a short while. Stumbled over this and between the description and reviews I had to try it. These sores really hurt!The gel quickly builds a little pillow right over the sore providing PROTECTION and relief. For hours! Even overnight. Just a blob on my clean little finger and it is done. Yes, I still know it is there but the pain is gone. I can sleep and eat again. Thank you so much.

I’ve never bought anything to help with canker sores before but I’ve had one on the inside of my lip right across from a canine tooth and it feels like it just never had the chance to heal. I finally bought this and there is definitely an initial sting when you first apply it, but I’m finally able to talk and eat with ease.Definitely worth a try! I think this is something I’ll definitely keep in my medicine cabinet going forward

I LOVE this!! The dental office said I had a canker sore they referred me to a rinse. I ordered the rinse. I seen the Zilactin-B at the time. After being in pain for 3 days without being able to eat, talk, then swallow I'm ready to do something!! I read the reviews one lady gave instructions try the area use a q-tip put the product on give it a minute to set I thought what do I have to lose. I ordered the, Zilactin-B put it on I haven't felt that much relief in days Thank you! I felt a little sting at first it tasted a little bit on the nasty side but after that it was all GOOD

I have tried a lot of meds for canker sores. I suffer from a hormone disorder so I get them quite often. This is the only med I’ve ever left a review for. What sets it apart is it actually works the 6 hours it promises. It does sting upon application like most mouth antiseptics, but once applied I have no pain for hours!! I even tried spicy foods and sour candy! This is a game changer for sure!! Just buy it already. Also helped reduced my healing time

this does really work. i apply it with a q-tip and it dries in about 30 seconds but im not gonna lie, it does burn as it’s drying. it has a minty taste and slightly numbs the area.

Takes care of mouth pain, but the taste is bad for a while. Dentures rub wrong sometimes and I needed something that lasted longer. These last a few hours but I wish that bad taste did not linger around. A few swishes of drink or hard candy helps.
