I bought this for a shoot at a local monastery and it was perfect. The quality of the material the rope belt and the ebony cross that came with it were of the same good quality and the day was a success . Plus you have the use at Fancy Dress Parties and Halloween. A great buy at a cheap price

I purchased this friar monk's robe in blue as part of my masked mage costume for this year's Halloween. And I'm pleased to say that it was easy to slip on (robe first, hood later) and comfortably loose enough for free movement.This robe also came with the rope belt and cross necklace shown in the preview images, both of which were lightweight and easy to put on.The main downside is that it can be bothersome to wear in warm conditions and/or over warm clothing (i.e. vest under shirt). Furthermore, neither the robe nor the hood have clear washing instructions, which means you'll have to look them up unless you know what material it is (i.e. 100% polyester).But, other than that, wearing this robe felt as good as it looked in the product preview images and I couldn't be more satisfied.

This to be is excellent value for money. The fabric is thick and there's lots of it and the cross it came with is real wood and not cheap looking plastic like some other costume props. Got this as part of a plague doctor costume and it was perfect!

This costume generally fit well and there is room to keep your normal clothes on underneath. However, the recipient is 6ft 1 and it was a bit short in the leg for them and only came down to their ankles, not floor length as the advertised pictures show! The overall costume is ok, not the most amazing quality, but for the price, it did the job.

Alongside a plague doctor mask i picked up this is a really good costume. It's a lot darker and more black than it is in the picture and if you need to the rope is useful as just being quite a good rope for rope stuff. i'm a short guy 5'5'' and i didn't have any real issues with walking or tripping up for the most part. Just be conscious of it going up and down stairs and you'll be fine.

This costume is good quality and the one I received looks exactly like the picture. I'm female and only 5ft 2" and the length of the robe and the sleeves were perfect on me - it might possibly be a bit short on a taller man. No need to worry if you're not stick thin as there's plenty of room available. A great costume.

I was totally blown away by the quality of this costume.This is not your normal "please keep away from naked flames" polyester costume. It actually feels like top quality cotton and made to last for years and years.It fits great and really looks the part, along with a great quality wooden cross and solid chain.

Bought this because other reviews have said it was thick and cotton-like but that's absolutely not what I received. What showed up on my doorstep is an incredibly thin plastic-y nylon/polyester type material. Definitely would not recommend.
