Miko – A Smart Companion for My Little One!
I recently purchased the Miko AI robot for my child, and it has exceeded all of our expectations! This little robot is not just a toy—it’s an engaging and educational companion that has brought so much joy to my little one. What we love:Interactive and Engaging: Miko interacts with my child in a way that feels personal and fun. It asks questions, tells jokes, and even remembers details about their interests. Miko sings and my little one love to sing with Miko.Educational Features: The built-in learning apps and activities are a game-changer. My kids are picking up new concepts in math, science, and language while playing with Miko. It makes learning exciting and effortless.Safe and Parent-Friendly: I appreciate the safety features, like parental controls and secure data handling. It’s clear that the creators designed Miko with families in mind.Durable and Well-Designed: Miko is sturdy and can handle the occasional tumble, which is inevitable with kids around. The design is sleek and kid-friendly, making it a hit with both parents and children.Room for Improvement:If I had to nitpick, I’d say the initial setup took a little longer than expected. However, we figured it out, and once it was up and running, everything worked seamlessly. Miko can sometimes be difficult to power off.Overall, Miko has been a fantastic addition to our household. It’s educational, entertaining, and genuinely feels like a part of our family now. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a smart and engaging robot for their child without breaking the bank and still being very durable. 🌟

Fun and SAFE Tech Toy
This product is really delightful and engaging for my kids. The companion app I find to be even better. The variety of games and content for my kids keeps them engaged and learning new things every time we play together. It's one of very few apps I feel okay with leaving them "alone" with as well. As far as the robot itself, I deeply appreciate the safe way she expresses things when my kids ask questions to try and push boundaries. My only critique is that it's fairly often that Miko crashes completely mid-play session. Also, when we first activated her, it was touch and go because she wasn't really working at all. After a day or so, she worked fine. I imagine that's due to updates and stuff integrating, but it was hard for the kids. Other than that, though, excellent toy and app!

It’s educational and smart has some flaws that probably were improved in Miko 3
So sometimes when we talk or ask it to play something it doesn’t play it, this might be because it’s for children and had parental controls. My daughter and Miko mini wrote a book which was cool. It will help her read and she loves when I call her and talk on it. It has a camera and I was hoping she would see me on it when we video chatted but I didn’t. I didn’t see how to play freeze dance. I was hoping the camera would detect it and play the game with the camera but this might have been for Miko 3 rather than Miko mini. The customer service is cool. I thought the robot would be able to play more stuff on it like tv shows rather than the app playing it on a cell phone or tablet, I was trying to reduce cell phone and tablet time my daughter just turned 5 but it is very educational and there are lots of cool things included in the app just wish the robot did a little more like follow you. I can move forward, left, right, back but it’s slow. Maybe I haven’t learned everything yet but I am an IT system admin and engineer. Overall it is cool for 75$. I got a robot dog for 30$ which doesn’t talk back or anything. What’s really cool is it pronounced her name correctly and it talks back to her when she asks it questions. She asked Miko what’s its favorite food and Miko said it doesn’t eat but it uses electricity similar to our food. It’s great overall. I probably should have just got the Miko 3 for 150 or so.

Fun and educational, but needs improvements
Update: I’m updating my review to 5 stars thanks to Miko’s great customer service—they followed up multiple times to address my concerns. Most importantly, my daughter loves this robot! She’s excited to talk to Miko daily, play math and memory games, explore animal facts, and create books. She also enjoys the science apps. It’s a much better alternative to passive screen time.Original review:Miko is a great interactive toy for my 6-year-old daughter. She spends about an hour a day talking to it, and she enjoys the games, especially the book-writing activity. Miko also has other games that help stimulate her thinking, which is a plus. However, there are a few downsides. The battery only lasts about two hours, so it needs to be charged daily. You also have to remember to turn it off when not in use. I reached out to customer support about this, and they were very helpful in explaining the battery life—great customer service overall.Another drawback is the limited number of apps, despite the $99 per year subscription. Additionally, Miko struggles with music recognition; it never plays the song that we requested. I’m still waiting for their team to get back to me on this issue.Regarding movement, Miko doesn’t run around like in the promotional videos. It moves briefly and only when given specific commands like “move forward” or “turn around,” but it won’t follow you around.Lastly, Miko Mini is only available in English. It would be great if it supported multiple languages. In our home, we speak both English and Portuguese, so having a Portuguese option would make it even more useful. There’s definitely room for improvement, and I wonder if Miko 3 might be a better option.

Fun and educational companion. Perfect for an only child!
My son loves this robot! I myself was quite fascinated at all the things it can do. Our favorite part is that it dances with you. I also love that it does story time with him before bed and the alarm wakes him up in the morning. This is much better than an iPad it’s like an educational companion that plays with you while teaching you all the time.
