Great container for syrup. No drip, no mess. Great for use in the microwave to warm up minus the cover.

We recently had company and I used the syrup jar two mornings. It was great. It hold a lot and there was no spillage.

Good price and great quality. Well made and solid.

I am not sure if I just got a lemon or if this product is this way for everyone, but the one I ordered had metal flaking off the lid both on top and also on the spout part. I was concerned I would get metal flakes in my food so I returned it. It also had a rubber washer ring around the top but it was damaged upon arrival. Not sure if that would have made a difference with the way it sealed, but I would say buy at your own risk!

My older dispenser was leaking after each use. This one does very little. Important to keep cap with handle clear of maple sugar build up.

I have been trying to find the best dispenser for maple syrup, both for my coffee and to put on a bagel or pancake. I first bought a pump style dispenser; I had high hopes that the metered dispensing would let me put a couple of pumps of maple syrup into my coffee and I would have the right sweetness. Sadly, it proved too prone to clogging and had a weak return spring, so that was a "swing and a miss". Then I got this. No measured dispensing, but I figured the simple design would be less likely to have shortcomings. The mess down the front of the dispenser made this disappointment number 2. My next try is going to be a squeeze bottle, it should provide good flow control and not leak syrup anywhere I don't want it. Keeping my fingers crossed...
