It’s a new size to me and it’s perfect. Has a wide enough opening. Will last a long time for my use which is 4 syringes a month. This one could last 2 years lol Ease of use is all I care about. So for that it’s perfect.

Great way to safely dispose of sharps. Easy to use and safe.

It's a sharps container, it works, it has a nice large opening that lets you insert larger sharps like the injector pens for GLP-1 drugs or used CGM sensors.Sadly, it's just a little too small for some injector pens; they pile up awkwardly, leaving a lot of wasted space. If it were just an inch wider, it'd be nearly perfect.Note the large opening is a boon for inserting larger devices, but means it's easier for a curious kid to shake sharps back out of the container. I wouldn't recommend it for homes with small children. As with most sharps containers, the only "securely closed" position for the lid is permanent: you can't reopen it once you close it all the way.

What I especially like about these, is that they are readily accepted by disposal places, plus they *don't* have that awful feature where when you close it once, it can never be opened again (like a competitor one has). In the competitor product, I've wasted so many of them by accidentally closing it, only to have to dispose of a half-or-less full container. AAAARGH. Not this one though! It's reliable, and tough, and works great. Time to order more!
