Very good value for money and overall very good camera
Absolutely fantastic dash cam for the price, really easy to set up and lots of different settings to adjust to how you want it. Battery life isn’t good at all so needs to be plugged in at all times though this never bothered me.Unfortunately the mount has lost now lost its stick so I have had to take the camera down because it kept falling off my windscreen, hopefully it’s nothing some gorilla glue won’t fix but overall the camera is very good for its price

Reasonable, but a lacking decent instructions.
Firstly I mention that I have not used any other dash cam, so I can’t objectively compare. As with other reviewers, bright lights do whiteout number plates at night. This is a cheap cam so it’s probably to be expected. My biggest gripe is that nowhere in the instructions does it tell you the name of the app. It is not Lucky Star, as I could not find this anywhere in the apple App Store. Through trial and error I found the Lerccenker app worked.Similarly there is no evidence of a customer care contact in the instructions. Once I had found a contact email address buried on the internet, it took over a week to reply. The instructions themselves are pretty poor also, but again with trial and error you can work the menu and buttons. As for the cam itself:- once mounted (like most people I put mine behind the rear view mirror) it becomes very fiddly to operate. However after the novelty has worn off you don’t need to do this often. A flip down screen and buttons would be better.- my preference would be if they had supplied a long usb cable to connect to the car, rather than one that goes to the cigarette lighter socket. In time I’ll source this myself.- the Lerccenker app ( the only one I found that worked with this cam) is ok, easy enough to use but not special.- image quality seems ok in main, noting the comment above. You do get what you pay for. If they had put a little more thought into the instructions it would have saved a lot of frustration and improved the out of the box experience.

A good buy
A nice compact unit, when used with the screen adhesive pad. I tried using the suction cup, but, the whole thing seemed a little intrusive.Very easy to install in my wifes Kuga and easy to set upWe have yet to utilise the wifi feature, but, when we do, we will let you know what we think. The recorded picture is very acceptableThe low light performance is also very good, when compared with lower cost camerasI would certainly consider buying snother, for my own car, when the need arises

Great purchase ****
Pros it starts up really quick and does the job well with clear footageCons it is a bit fiddly and takes a bit of getting used to, so I have set it up and left it.

Has the features, not the quality.
Awkward to use, always starts recording straight away and the instructions don't say how to stop it. I did figure it out but it's so complex you have to re-figure it out. The instructions are minimal and the SD card really awkward to get in the device as it goes further than the plastic cover so you need to poke it in with tweezers. The app is a little clunky but seems to do the job, haven't downloaded anything yet.I imagine a problem a lot of people are running into is that is does connect through WiFi, which is great, but if you're outside your home or someone's you have access to WiFi, if your phone prioritises their WiFi it won't connect up very well to the dashcam. The features on the dashcam are good, settings awkward to use again but useful once sorted. Quality seems OK but I'd question the full HD. If I had an extra £40 I'd definitely say upgrade, this is basic China mimicry of the high spec ones. I've chanced a £20 dash cam for years and it sometimes corrupted data, only bought this as I decided not worth the risk after someone hit me, if I had gone from a decent dash cam to this I would not be willing to keep it.

Happy with this dash cam
I'm very happy with this dash cam. It's small so looks discreet in the car but works just as good as my old dash cam which was larger and more lumberous. The suction cup is brilliant too, I have a few suction cups devices in the car such as a phone holder and sat nav holder and sometimes they don't stick solidly but this is a strong one Thank you!

Faulty cam - kept restarting - returned for a refund.
I ordered this as a replacement to my old dash cam and chose this based on the good reviews and reasonable price. The cam appeared well made and had 2 options for attaching to the windscreen. The menu / setup was exactly the same as my old camera so I had it set up pretty quickly. On my first journey it seemed ok but when I reached my destination and turned off the engine, the cam kept recording. When I got back to my car several hours later it was still recording but with a low battery warning. I reset the cam and this seemed to resolve the problem. After about 5 days on my way home from work, the cam kept fully switching itself off and back on every 15 seconds despite being plugged in. I tried unplugging the cam and resetting it but it continued to restart itself. The noise it made every 15 seconds soon became really annoying so I ended up unplugging it and putting it in the boot until the battery eventually ran out. Once again I tried resetting the cam but it continued to restart itself so I returned the cam for a refund.
