Grandkids loved it for an hour

What is wrong with kids today? I loved this, I thought it fun and interactive. I love that it came apart at the tail and the remote is excellent. Not one of my kids is interested in it, and it sits on a shelf gathering dust. If you have a dinosaur fan in your family, this would make an excellent gift even at this price. Heck, I would send you mine at this point, but I don’t have the box anymore. It really is interactive.

My son loves dinosaurs and I knew I wouldn’t go wrong with this toy, but never I imagined that not only the boy but my girl would love it too.This dinosaur can move forward/backward, turn left/right, and can fling its tail, which is very funny.It not only turns its head but apparently can interact with humans since my 4 yr old daughter loves the "touch the head of Dino option”. She says it’s her pet now, and pats his head all the time... and my son’s favorite: it can also fire missiles from its back. It’s been fun to watch the enjoy this toy.The remote control is super easy to use and my son has used without any problem all the buttons but the one that can enter the toy into program mode and it will stop getting commands from the remote control. However we figured out that if you press it again or if you turn the Dino off and on again it gets back to normal.This toy is sturdy enough to predict that will last forever and it is made out of high quality material and doesn’t smell like toxic chemical like random toys do.Having the rechargeable battery is awesome (compared to operating with non rechargeable batteries) but I have to admit, not super easy (I wish it was as easy as charging the phone).We don’t bother to unscrew it every time we put the battery in and out, we just put the cover and there’s no problem, it won’t fall. Also my son had a drone with a similar mechanism for charging and he can do it by himself. The first time I helped to unplug it from the wire and plug it to the charger, and then there was no need for more help. But if your kid is not familiar, then they will need a bit of help from an adult.This toy is a wonder, it entertains and keeps children busy for a very long time.

Fun interactive dinosaur! I got this at the perfect time, right when the new Godzilla shows started airing, my kids love this interactive dinosaur! The build little lego towns and have the dinosaur stomp through it tearing them apart, their own Godzilla movies. This is not Godzilla by the way, and not meant to be. The dinosaur can be tearing the town apart, then have a dance party with a flick of the remote. This dinosaur is big! A lot bigger and sturdy than other robots we’ve had in the past, and this one is a lot more interactive. Other robots we’ve had were only played with for a few hours, this one is getting a lot of use. It’s more costly than some of the other robots, but the functionality, size, and memory makes it worth the extra cost. This robot launches missiles, and you can add water so fog comes out of the mouth! The robot has rechargeable batteries, so you don’t spend a fortune on batteries for this bot. You still need batteries for the remote, but those won’t die so easily. We love this robot and all the different things you can do with it!

This made an excellent gift for our granddaughter who is in love with anything dinosaurs. Honestly, I expected some dinosaur noises, which it doesn't make. More beeps and bumps and music than dino sounds, but the kid still loves playing with it. Invest in batteries ahead of time. You'll be burning thru them. Its hard not to play with it myself. It does get the job done in terms of being entertaining. It DANCES. Yes, you read that correctly. It dances. That alone as a selling point might be the most important. Overall, seems like a quality piece and its fun to play with. If you've got kids or grandkids that like dinosaurs, this should make the short list of gifts for this year.

The media could not be loaded. This dino is HUGE. You can tell by how heavy it is, that it's got some serious insides. I like that it has pretty realistic sounding sound effects. There are 12 things you can do from the remote. Travel in all directions of course, but it also has a few buttons that just wag the tail and roar, or just shake the head and roar. If you let is set idle for only a minute, it roars and lets you know it want to "play". It has a pretty serious button that starts a demo that includes it launching it's missiles. They are harmless, just spring loaded plastic darts tipped with rubber suction cups. Unless shot directly at an eye from a few inches away, harmless. Even if that happens, the slow velocity probably wouldn't hurt anyone or anything. It takes a unique flat 600mAh battery that JUST barely fits in the belly of this beast. I wish it came with two batteries however, as after 25 minutes it needs more battery, and waiting a couple hours for that one unique flat one to charge may get old. Unfortunately, because of the design of the battery compartment, only that flat one will fit. Those standard 500mAh cylindrical batteries that come with so many rc toys and thus many of us have several of, just won't fit. That button that fires the missiles sometimes fires two at once, but that's not a huge deal for me. The remote takes two AAA batteries, not included.Over all a large fun dino that you can do several things with other than just travel and turn. For this price, a good deal. I would recommend this one.

A house favorite when my young nephew visits this is now one his favorite robots to play with.The Dino comes with a remote with plenty of functions and it comes with a rechargeable battery that provides quite a few hours of fun so you don't need to charge it very often.This is a great option for any young children who like Dinosaurs and robotics.
