These were delivered next day, well packaged with clear instructions. They were easy to get up and running. The app installed easily and the first one connected first time, the second took a couple of attempts, but no real problem. Waited the stated 30 minutes before then linking to Alexa, but that was so simple and now they are fully operational, by Alexa. I was aware of the need to install these using 2.4 broadband connection so I altered the setting on my router before starting the installation process, then just returned it to the previous settings and no issues.

Arrived quickly, however it would not work with the BT Hub so was useless for me. However I gave them to a family member and they said they worked fine for them and their Alexa so were happy!

Bought these as they were good value for a multi pack and also the reviews were for the most part great.I have BT fibre and they both connected flawlessly to the router via the iPhone app, it seems they need a plug inserted into them to make them seen by the app but it could be coincidence as it could not be found when stand alone.Both found and attached to table lamps and work perfectly via the app as well as timings for dusk and "go to bed". Linked to Alexa via the skill and she can control both with ease.Great bit of kit and leaves me wanted to grab a few more for other lamps and to look further into the home automation kit from TUYA.If you are wondering what smart plugs to get then these are a no brainer for me going forward!

they work great but one of the two refuses to update to latest firmware - still works however everytime you go into the app it prompts you to update so thats annoying

Hi all, well I received my plugs today and I have to say I was really impressed with quality being so cheap , I was even more impressed with how simple and fast it was to set these up , I was up and running on both plugs within 15 minutes and now it is just a simple “ Alexa turn on my kettle “ or Alexa turn on the kettle 😂 I can’t speak highly enough of how simple these were to setup with Alexa app and enable the skills , great instruction in English although small booklet was simple to understand , and I now have usb charging sockets where ever I have. Plug , will order another 6 of these for all over my home and with timer function also they are just great value compared to others , a great start to my smart home project

Wifi plugs work well and were relatively easy to setup, I got them working with alexa in a group for my kitchen unit under lights. The Tuya app works ok but I had to register from the web site as the app didn't allow it. Took about 30 mins for it to be accepted on alexa app to be able to sign in. All setup now and working perfectly.

Had great trouble getting this to connet to my wireless network and upon investigation established that it will only work on a 2.4 GHz wireless network and not 5 GHz . I disabled the 5 GHz but still could only get one to work. I have a couple of Belkin WeMo smart plugs too and have not had any problems with these, they even connected to my Echo by themselves. They may be more expensive but I am returning these and will pay the extra to get the ease of use.

Very happy with the product, no issues or difficulties setting up and get it working with the Echo. Has a button on the side if you need to switch it manually and has a USB port for charging, but I don't know how much of a charge it supplies convenient for charging my Kindle.You do need a smartphone for the setup and need to to register with their website.
