At first I was really upset thinking why would they send me a used brush because it has residue and it smelled of a nail bass. However, after complaining about it they explained what they did to “crimp” the brush & that was just their process but would send me another new one that wasn’t crimped or had that smell if I wanted. After also realizing they put a piece of paper inside explaining that as well but I didn’t see it til later 🤦🏽‍♀️ I don’t understand why it’s expensive but it is good brush to use. Even for beginners I think it’s better because the smaller brushes doesn’t hold enough acrylic on the brush for me.

This brush is so smooth and easy to clean and work with. Just make sure you quickly get out any buildup with acetone and you’re good to go. I was fooled into thinking I needed brush cleaner but it only comes in 4oz which is too small and acetone does an amazing job. I got the #22 and it’s perfect and holds its shape very well.

Description missleading. Not crimped. I put it on monomer before complaining that I got the wrong item. some bristles started coming off but I'm willing to give it a try. It seems like it holds a lot of monomer so hopefully I didn't wasted my money. Update: after my first used the brush got ruined. I try cleaning it and when I try to use it the brisell stay stuck to the acrylic. I think it was a wasted of money at this point 😔

I was previously using a size 8 tapered brush for my acrylics since I read somewhere that that particular type of brush was easier for beginners. Since I've been doing nails a while now, I wanted to try this brush. Bigger and crimped. I have to say I wish I would have used this from the beginning. The bigger size and the crimped bristles make it so much easier to lay the acrylic smoothly and evenly. I wish I would have started off with this brush. Makes the process so much faster and easier. Great quality, definitely recommend, even for beginners.

My only issue is how many little bristles it loses, started happening about 6 months after I got the brush but its not too major maybe 5 or 6 every 4 clients or so nothing too bad, just clean it more frequently

When you first use the brush it soaks up a lot of monomer but once you use it once or twice and clean it it flattens very well . I had no issues after that with monomer or application . bristles splitting apart isn’t an issue for me Love it so far
