They arrived in a little plastic bag and were covered in some sort of liquid. I thought it could be a liquid to keep the elasticity of the sock, but looked disgusting. Never mind I washed them with gentle soap and it went away. Unfortunately one of the socks broke at the first wear!

I don't like this product. Because it's so hard to put on and take off, kids can't handle it, and we get emotional.
