This is designed for dashboards that are quite heavily curved, such as in the Honda Odyssey, and for that, it is PERFECT! It took about 15 seconds to figure out how to attach it, and to attach it very securely. Also, you can easily remove it, and reposition it. I originally thought I would have it at the top of the circle of my Honda Odyssey dashboard, but another reviewer suggested having it more to the top-right, and I tried that, and I love it, and that is where it is staying!I was curious to see how well it would work in my Nissan NV 3500 where the dashboard is less curved. It worked, but the problem was not the degree of curvature, but how thick the dashboard quickly became behind the front edge of the dashboard. This device attached to the Nissan NV 3500 dashboard, but was definitely wobbly. I would not recommend it for a Nissan NV 3500, but WOW, if you have a Honda Odyssey and are unsure, I highly recommend this for you! We instantly loved it - it keeps our phone screen (with Google Maps) up near line of sight during normal driving, yet without obstructing my view of the road, and also without obstructing my instrument panel.I give this 5 stars because clearly it is designed only for certain types of dashboards and it is PERFECT for those - e.g. my Honda Odyssey - and the fact that it doesn't work so well for a Nissan NV 3500 is not a fault of this design, it's just not designed for a Nissan NV.

I have a 2024 Nissan pathfinder rock creek and I hated getting the phone stands that stick/suction to my windshield, but my dash has a curve to it and nowhere convenient to place a phone holder. I've been wanting one that would go on my center dash. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this phone stand! It fit perfectly on my center dash. It folds down for when you don't use it, It's easy to install, it rotates from landscape to portrait with ease, it rotates left to right. Can move it around without a sweat and is super easy to use. Doesn't damage car like others. It's not loose. I have an iPhone 13 pro max and It holds it very snug.

I've been looking for a new phone holder for a while. My current one is good. It fits into the vents and it holds fairly well however on occasion it does fall out. I love this new Bawyot phone holder as it mounts different ways to different parts of the dash. It's spring loaded with a strong spring which will not fall off. I currently have mine mounted on the left of my dash above the speedometer. It fits perfectly and works great. In addition, I have a thicker phone due to a case around it and it fits perfectly as well. It has four arms that holds the phone tightly in place. I highly recommend this holder!

The dashboard grip is very strong and can be put on a wide variety of spots, making it way better than the suction type. The bolt that angles the phone screen needs to be tightened every so often or it'll flatten while you drive. It holds a wider phone no problem and is easy to use.If you live somewhere where the internal car temp is high, don't leave it clamped when you're parked. The light gray grip plastic melts at 80°F.

This looked like a great solution however, the bolt comes loose frequently so I even used lock tight. But, then the clip started slipping and I found my phone either in my lap or on the floor. Tried multiple locations but did not work in my car or my wife’s car. Save your money as this was not a good solution for us.

The pro max is too heavy and big for it. It could nearly fit the holder but because it’s big and heavy the head kept falling down

The ONLY downfall is that I need to take my phone case off. I have an iphone 11 pro max. It holds it very snug. I love it so much though that I don't mind taking the case on/off.

I like how this holder securely attaches to the dashboard and is out of the way, but despite my tightening the screws, the phone swivels around. I have to keep adjusting it because it won't stay put.
