Fantastic quality. Paint has not chipped even after a couple accidental drops on smooth cement. Audio quality is far better than any pair I’ve owned, though that may not say much as I’ve used many varieties of $50 earbuds. Someone described these as ‘screaming’ for the mid/upper mid range and I can confirm these do emphasize vocals quite a bit.

These things feel like quality, nice hefty but not overweight metal shell. Perfect fit for my ears with an easy to swap cable. all that in a beautiful deep blue package, what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, great sound, they have that too. Just like the first generation starfields I got they sound amazing no matter what I listen to. Are they equivalent to $1200 studio iems? No, of course not. But they are a great value at the price.

First of all, I love these. And I know these are not for everyone; they are specifically for people who enjoy a shoutier sound signature and that is definitely me. But there is one very specific and easy to fix flaw with these. Get different filters.The filters are garbage and have a really bad problem with moisture. Especially if you like using wide bore tips like spiral dots, or Moondrop's very own spring tips as they exacerbate the issue.On the first day of using these I noticed after a while that one ear was significantly quieter than the other. I thought it was a potential defect so I went back to using my old iems for a bit. When I picked up my starfield 2 again the problem was gone. What I've found after some research and having more issues with the sound becoming quiet after use, is that moondrop used to sell filters with this exact problem. They have since started selling updated filters that have a separation between the filter and the metal grate, but those filters are not what they ship with the Starfield 2. They appear to have put the old filters on these and in order to get the better filters, you need to look elsewhere because I can't find them on AmazonUpdate: I decided to update my review after owning these for a while. It appears that they've increased the price of these and I didn't realize that at first. But for the price of these ($130), I'd just save another $20 and get the supermix 4. That being said, these are still very good for female vocals and electric guitar lovers. It really just can't compete with some of the new stuff that has come out for that price. It is also still the best single DD in my collection. If you like bass, you can EQ these easily to get fairly punchy bass as well - out of the box the bass is pretty weak

I love everything about these, they are EXTREMELY loud so you will need to turn down your volume but I enjoy everything from the quality of sound to the metal structure, except one thing. Because these are made of metal, when in wearing them and I pet my cat, the static electricity from the cats fur shorts them out and so I loose audio until I unplug them then plug them back in, and I would like a longer cord, maybe 4-6 inches

Sound:Has more treble energy than previous models, treble also seems more natural. After removing this filter sound improved markedly especially low treble detail, however it requires some equalization at 2-4khz now.

They sound great, but the filters aren't made very well. The left side stopped working after only a few months. Buy extra filters with this product.

It's insanely good, I already love it so far. Nice quality, loud and nice sounds. I heard that a lot of people were criticizing the female vocals and bass but the vocals are really nice and the bass is great even without the attached filters (wich I haven't and won't be trying out). I ordered the Moondrop Dawn Pro DAC for it so I can't wait to get the maximum power out of these iems. This is my first iem and using them is a reliefe. Finally I can say goodbye to my old headphones.

This is my first set of IEMs, for the price I think they’re great. They’re comfortable for my ears, even the little buds they come with. I have small ears so they fit comfortably, if the bud goes too far however there will be no sound so you do have to be aware of that and make sure you set it properly in your ear. Now putting the cable into the IEM was a scare for me due to the fact I had to really press them in and I was worried the prongs on the cord would break. The braided cord seems durable thus far, it’s not too short nor too long, but I’m also short so the height difference from my pc and up could be different. If you’re wanting to use these for an iPhone be sure to buy an audio adapter at the same time!I do a lot of gaming and I personally enjoy the audio quality for Valorant, Stardew Valley, Old School RuneScape. While in discord, the audio has so far prioritized other users voices over music and game sounds.
