Having taken the decision to save the planet by ceasing to use plastic bottles of liquid soap and to return to using hard soaps (love Bronnley lemon and line & bergamot soaps, by the way), I needed some soap dishes which weren't ceramic and wouldn't stick to the soap and keep dropping into the washbasins and smashing. Wooden ones seemed a good solution and I was attracted by the price of these. They are absolutely ideal. They are very light weight, nicely varnished, don't let the soap get waterlogged and have four little rubber stoppers which stop them sliding about on the wash basin. Best of all, the price was unbeatable. I'm planning to order more for my daughter's house. You cannot go wrong with these sustainable bamboo bargains.
