The Twelve South AirFly Pro is an excellent accessory
**Twelve South AirFly Pro - Wireless Transmitter/Receiver for AirPods & Wireless Headphones**As someone who frequently travels and prefers using wireless headphones, I was intrigued by the Twelve South AirFly Pro. This device promises to bridge the gap between traditional in-flight entertainment systems and modern wireless audio devices, making it an attractive option for frequent flyers like myself.**What I Like:**- **Versatile Functionality**: The AirFly Pro can function as both a transmitter and a receiver, which is a huge plus. As a transmitter, it allows me to connect my AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones to any device with a headphone jack, such as airplane entertainment systems, gym equipment, or even older stereo systems. As a receiver, it turns wired speakers or car stereos into Bluetooth-compatible devices.- **Dual Headphone Support**: One of the standout features is the ability to connect two sets of headphones simultaneously. This is perfect for sharing a movie or music with a travel companion on a flight, ensuring both of us can enjoy wireless audio without any hassle.- **Compact and Portable Design**: The AirFly Pro is small and lightweight, making it easy to carry in a pocket, purse, or carry-on bag. It comes with a handy keychain attachment, so I never have to worry about losing it during my travels.- **Long Battery Life**: The battery life is impressive, offering up to 16 hours of use on a single charge. This is more than enough for even the longest flights, and the device can be recharged quickly using the included USB-C cable.**What I Don’t Like:**- **Initial Pairing Process**: While pairing the AirFly Pro with my headphones was relatively straightforward, it took a couple of attempts to get everything connected properly. Once paired, it worked flawlessly, but the initial setup might require some patience.- **Audio Lag**: There’s a slight audio lag when watching videos, especially on older in-flight entertainment systems. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it can be noticeable if you’re sensitive to audio sync issues. The lag is minimal but worth mentioning for those who prioritize perfect synchronization.- **Price**: The AirFly Pro is on the pricier side for an accessory, but given its versatility and functionality, I find it justifiable. However, if you’re only planning to use it occasionally, you might need to weigh the cost against the frequency of use.**Bottom Line:**The Twelve South AirFly Pro is an excellent accessory for anyone who wants to use their wireless headphones with devices that don’t support Bluetooth, particularly during air travel. Its versatile functionality, ability to connect two headphones simultaneously, and long battery life make it a must-have for frequent flyers. While the initial pairing process might require some patience and there’s a slight audio lag with video, the overall convenience and performance make it a worthwhile investment for those looking to enjoy wireless audio wherever they go.

Works great, get a dual male-to-female adapter so it'll work on any plane!
Easy to charge, easy to pair up with your headphones (mine are Bose), easy to plug into the airplane jacks, no sound lag, great performance. They work on airplanes with either 2-prong or 3-prong jacks, too. For both of those types of airplane headphone jacks, I plugged the AirFly's single prong into the female hole on my male-to-female headphone adapter, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Airplane-Adapters-Female-Airline-Headphone/dp/B07GB76D89/On Aer Lingus which has three holes for the three prongs on the headphones they provide and which I did not want to use, the two female holes on the top of the airplane jack are for left and right sound channels, and the one female hole on the bottom is for noise cancellation. But if your headphones provide noise cancellation, like my Bose do, you don't need to plug anything into that hole.

Super small very good looking. 100% recommend good quality flawless connection good battery.
I don’t usually get this excited about tech accessories, but the AirFly Pro 2 seriously blew me away. I used it recently on a 12-hour Delta flight, and I can honestly say it made the entire experience so much better. This little device is truly a game changer for anyone who flies and wants to use their own wireless earbuds instead of those uncomfortable airline headphones.Setup was incredibly easy — just plug the AirFly into the headphone jack of the in-flight entertainment screen, press the button to pair, and within seconds my Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) were connected. No glitches, no weird delay in sound, and the audio came through crystal clear. Honestly, it even sounded better than I expected. I watched a few movies and streamed some music, and there were zero issues the entire time. One of the best features is that you can connect two sets of earbuds at the same time. I was able to pair mine and my travel companion’s, and we both listened to the same movie together — totally wire-free. It made sharing the experience so much easier and more fun, without having to deal with splitter cables or one-ear listening. The battery life is also amazing. The AirFly was fully charged before the flight and lasted the entire 12 hours without needing a top-up. That gave me complete peace of mind, knowing I wouldn’t have to fuss with charging it mid-flight. Plus, it’s super compact and sleek — it took up virtually no space in my bag and is now a permanent part of my travel gear.If you travel at all, especially on long flights, I can’t recommend the AirFly Pro 2 enough. It’s absolutely worth the price, and once you use it, you’ll wonder how you ever traveled without it. Huge thanks to the creators for making such a thoughtful, high-quality product. Flying just got way more comfortable.

Super Handy Bluetooth Adapter for Travel and More
The AirFly Pro 2 is awesome for using wireless headphones anywhere with a 3.5mm jack. I’ve paired two AirPods at once, which is perfect for traveling with a buddy on a plane or sharing music in the car. It’s easy to set up and works great with TVs, treadmills, boats—you name it. Battery life is solid, and the sound quality is clear. If you want to cut the cord but still use wired audio devices, this is a must-have.

Pairs with Phonak Hearing Aids
I am thrilled with the AirFly2 Pro I use Phonak Hearing Aids and was able to pair them to the AirFly. We paired my husbands wireless headphones first and then my hearing aids using the Pair 2 button. This will be a game changer for me when we travel as I now will be able to enjoy movies and hear them properly and I think they will also work on tour buses like the Hop-On-Hop-Off buses.Such a great little gizmo!!
