This was one of those buys, where I saw it, I wanted it, but I wondered about its usefulness!! I hate when my husband uses his razor, then drops it on the back of the sink still wet!! Water stays on the counter, and has to be wiped up. This shelf is aesthetically pleasing AND dries in seconds!! My pictures were literally taken seconds apart! Obviously the razor is still wet, so it's going to look wet for a minute until the razor is dry. The 1st thing I did when I got it, after putting the little legs on, was put a wet sponge on it to see if it really dried in seconds! I took the sponge off and I watched it dry before my eyes!! It is 10X4" with a height of about an inch. Cute little shelf for the bathroom or kitchen. I had it in my kitchen, then moved it to the bathroom (for reasons already explained) but missed it in the kitchen... I may need to get another one! Mine is grey, but I believe it also comes in pink. I haven't put bar soap on it yet but I imagine that would also be a good idea because it would keep soap from sitting in water! Let's be clear... its not going to dry out what you put on it, a wet sponge will still be wet until it dies naturally, but the water that comes off from it will dry very quickly!! Very cute!!

This shell has kept the counter around the sink very organized. The wash clothes and sponges have a little shelf to rest on as opposed to sitting in the sink! The bottles of dish detergent also have place now instead of under the sink!

No more ring stains from soap dispensers or sponges. Water is quickly absorbed into the stone surface.It is pretty. I love it
