Seems to be of a very dense, solid quality, and very surprising for the cost. Especially when you consider the price of options like the Belkin. I got it for the laptop mounting for my MacBook Pro, but the included ring is a nice add-on feature. Great idea to include the ring, maximizes the area that would otherwise be wasted. Works great with my Mag-Safe case. Holds on tight, swivels nicely. Highly recommended!Also, I received the newer model than what's pictured. The ONLY difference seems to be that instead of a full width black pad on either side of the mount, it just has a small gray oval silicon pad on either side. Ends up looking nicer and seems like it would be more durable than a full pad like what's pictured.

I just wanted something to snap onto my phone and hold it on the top of my MacBook. This does just that. I have the pro max so my phone is heavy and the agent holds perfectly well, I saw some reviews saying it tilts your laptop screen back, and yes that will happen when you put anything heavy on the top of your screen, it is not specific to this amazon product. I don't usually like to have things on my phone and frankly I don't use this very much because I am not on zooms to often But I found myself keeping it on the back of my phone and just fidgeting with the magnet lol its quite fun to do. But yeah if you want to mount your phone this works perfectly fine and is a great price, sturdy metal and feels high quality. I have had for about a month and have had no wear but that being said I only have had it for a month and for the price I expect it to wear but hasn't so far.

I recently got my hands on this Continuity Camera Mount, and it’s been a solid addition to my setup. The aluminum build feels sturdy and complements my MacBook’s design nicely. Attaching my iPhone is straightforward, thanks to the strong MagSafe connection.Using this mount with macOS and iOS has been seamless. My iPhone instantly becomes a high-quality webcam for video calls and content creation. The mount holds the phone securely, and I haven’t noticed any slipping during use.One thing to note is that the mount doesn’t allow for horizontal sliding adjustments, unlike some other models. However, for my needs, the fixed position works just fine. Also, it’s worth mentioning that the surfaces touching both the iPhone and Mac are covered with rubber and a white film to prevent scratches, which is a thoughtful touch.The only drawback for me is that the mount can only work with relatively thin monitors, hence the 4 stars. Also I have experienced some connectivity issues while using Zoom, but that is not the mount's fault of course.Overall, the Stouchi mount offers great value for its price. for use as a ring phone holder and prop up on flat surface, as compared to BELKIN and other generic imitations, STOUCHI is the best. WHY ? 1. STRONGEST MagSafe grip, 2. SLIMMEST, 3.LIGHTEST, and 4. Rotates easily while attached. | hey STOUCHI, if you’re reading this - 1. what is the origin of the name STOUCHI?, 2. do better with your logo (it is a poor representation of the quality products you are manufacturing), and 3. who copied who? - the design is identical to BELKIN.

Left on top of my car, fell off on the highway doing 60mph. When I realized what I had done I pinged its location and found it in the middle of the highway. My phone was just fine. The case only had a couple of chunks taken out. I highly recommend this case!

The mount looks and feels high quality, much higher than the price. The device functions on paper: it attaches securely to the magsafe connector, it sits on top of a macbook without damaging it, and even has the bonus features of phone stand and ring holder. Unfortunately none of the features work well on a practical level. I eventually returned the product.The primary reason for the 3 -star review is the laptop mounting angle. When attached to a laptop, the phone cameras are angled slightly up relative to the laptop screen. To avoid just showing my forehead, I have to either tilt my laptop screen lower than I'd like or put something to wedge between the phone and laptop. If this angle were lower, or better yet adjustable, this would be a great mount.The additional phone stand feature offers two not-so-different viewing angles: one by leaning against the ring holder when fully extended, and the other by leaning against the side of the ring holder. The optional feature is nice, but I wish the two angles were more varied and less tilted. Both angles are close to a 45 degree tilt.The additional phone ring feature works almost as expected, but here the metal build quality actively works against the product. The hard metal edges aren't comfortable compared to plastic or rubber rings. Additionally the ring doesn't offer any twisting flexibility as you reposition the phone in your hand.A final inconvenience was that I needed to remove my phone case, which was a bit too thick for the magsafe connector to connect properly. This is a trait shared by all magsafe mounts so I didn't dock any points for this.

I picked this up to replace a truly rubbish plastic one (Fumuxry brand, with suspiciously good reviews) that cost $4 more. It greatly exceeds expectations! Light but sturdy aluminum, added bonus of the grip ring, and low profile enough that I can leave it on my camera. Also much better magnetic grip than the one that fell apart.I have an iPhone 11 Pro so I needed a mag case and it works flawlessly. It also works on top of my Dell monitor because it fortuitously has a lip that it nestles into nicely.I'm buying a backup just in case!
