Mini Key Morse Radio HAM Send Telegram Double Paddle Morse Code Key with Stainless Steel Body Three Neodymium Magnets Base Gray

I am a beginning CW ham operator and can’t justify spending $200-$300 on a paddle so the Putikeeg paddles is a great starting point. It is well made and works well! I like the magnets since my main table for portable operation is metal. The paddle stays put, allowing one handed operation.I have used it with my Icom IC-7300, QRP Labs QCX Mini and FX-4CR and have now made close to 1000 contacts using this paddle. The only issue I have run into is minor. Once in a while it seems to go rogue 😀 and will start sending dits and dahs randomly after I touch a paddle. I haven’t been able to figure out where the contact is happening, but it doesn’t happen very often.

I'm still learning CW and this seems like a good key for me. I was happy with the paddle distances right out of the box. The magnets are extremely strong, maybe too strong and it stays put. I bought the corresponding steel plate from PUTIKEEG. It comes with little rubber stickers to put on the underside of the plate. with those on it the paddle operates very well. I can use it one-handed and it doesn't move on the table at all.I see how some say the jack at the front might be a little flimsy. Just be careful plugging it in. My only other comment is I had to use their jack that came with their key. My previous paddle I could use a standard 3.5mm stereo audio cable connected to my rig. I wonder if this is something proprietary? The supplied cable is short so make sure you buy the longer cable with it.The unit feels very sturdy. I also have a plastic paddle from another company and it feels very mushy to me compared to this.

The photography on the images do not really show the size well. It is a VERY small key. I don't think it will work bery well unless you buy the steel (heavy) plate shown in some of the photos.That being said, it is a nice key even though the adjustments from the factory were irregular. One thing that isn't apparent is that there is a normal/reverse switch (which happened to be in reverse when shipped.) I AM reverse, but that is set in my rig, not in the key.As I said it is a nice key and goes in my IC-705 go-kit replacing my plastic key except in my SOTA kit.

This little key works surprisingly well. It is in my "GO" bag for portable and POTA operations. I even use it when operating from my car with my IC705. It has a good feel and hard to believe that it is as good as it is for a $50 key! I have duct taped a piece thin 1/16" steel onto a foldable tray that I can extend between the armrests in my Tesla and I can sit both the radio and key there for portable operation..works great!

I bought it for POTA and other portable use. After a few days of use I found the key stopped working but it turned out to be a transmitter issue so I figured it out and resolved it on my own. It now works just fine and I really like the size and weight of it as well as it’s function. The magnets holding it in place are strong and the metal plate that I got with it is also of excellent quality.

I'm using one of these paired with an MCT-73 morse code trainer and it works great! Before I got this keyer I was using a straight key and had a really hard time progressing. With this iambic keyer I was able to really improve my accuracy and speed, and I can now transmit at around 20 wpm. 10/10, would recommend!

Needs a small bit of adjustment but a rock solid Keyer for beginners and experts.After a year I started having issues and some communication between seller after a few weeks they agreed to ship a new keyer.

Great size and weight. Quality materials and magnets work great. Love the look and feel. But, tension is controlled only but repelling magnets and you cannot adjust the dit side down without problems with it sticking. It took using a replacement tip (included), and careful adjustment to get it setup for correct use. I’d probably go for a full size fully adjustable key.

It’s good. Might be a bit “busy” as in lots of parts and looks and crannies that can mean perhaps longevity issues. I think a back up key on the field in the middle of nowhere might be packed with my gear bag but ? Im not saying it is fragile. Just not a clean cut paddle that has a nice square contained footprint. Perhaps a enclosure of sorts would be cool.

日本語の説明が有れば良いかと。足がマグネットなのでブリキ板の上でなければ固定できないのかな？

不具合など特になく問題なく使えてる基盤が剥き出しなのがちょっと気になるくらいかな
