Helps with ergonomics
I wasn't sure if I was going to like this at first, as it took adjusting to create a personalized ergonomic workspace. I am using it with a 14" MacBook Pro (M4) and it holds the laptop sturdy. There was one adjustment I did where it kind of weighed the stand down, but barely. What works best for my setup is the first product image- having the laptop high up, and varying tilts for the top. The sharper the tilt, the higher the screen will be (as shown in the product photo- that looks like the highest it can be), which is what I needed, as it alleviates upper back pain since now the screen is at an appropriate height.I have a standard size keyboard that fits slightly under the stand (on top of the bottom curve that rests on the table) and a small Wacom tablet in front of that. This stand helps me by propping up my screen, and giving me more room on my desk for the larger keyboard and tablet, while not having to have the laptop too far away to see comfortably, since I have a small-ish screen at 14".

The adjustable frame lines up my MacBook screen with a 2nd display
I am using this stand with a MacBook Pro connected to a 2nd display. It's positioned to the right of the display, and I adjusted the height and angle so the MacBook screen and the display are lined up side-by-side. It makes for a great work environment - I can position all of my active windows so they're visible with barely any separation between them. I love it!I've seen some reviewers say the stand doesn't support a MacBook because the MacBook is too heavy, and the stand won't hold the position: it sags under the weight. This happened to me as well, but they include a hex wrench for just this reason. It's in the pocket in the carry case, and when you open the box there's a card in that pocket pointing to the wrench so you won't miss it. Set the stand to the position you want, then tighten the four hinges with the wrench. It takes just a few seconds. After tightening, the stand holds the MacBook in the position you set.

love the laptop stand BUT...
The stand idea is great and exactly what I need to raise my laptop more to eye level to ease the ole "tech neck" issue.. but, my MacBook Air is too light on the front that without something to stop it form sliding down, it would completely slide off the stand. I found this small vise which can hold one side of the laptop in place. I wish the 2 front tabs were slightly higher, maybe 1" to prevent the laptop form sliding off.

incredible
this is the most incredible stand i've ever owned and also looks breathtaking at my setup. the laptop (16" macbook pro) has a case that is extremely heavy, so this stand sags, but still leaves the computer at an appropriate angle, so i lucked out 100%.the presentation in the undamaged box was exemplary as expected from a twelve south product. would buy a thousand times again.
