Having used many of the Iztouch1080p internal IP cameras, I was not surprised to find that the external version is just as high a quality as the others. The HD picture is absolutely outstanding and anyone looking for an IP camera that provides great viewing then this camera is a must.The camera itself feels very good in the hand, and is extremely well built.Night vision is top class, and for the money I doubt very much that you would find anything better. The distance for the night vision seems very good too, and reaches the end of my driveway with ease, which is 15m away. This provides a very clear black and white picture in pitch black darkness.Now, as with all things there are slight downsides to this camera. The cable that needs to be passed through a wall is ridiculously large with all its connections, and a hole would need to be some 30mm diameter to pass them all through. This needs to be addressed and a connector fitted somewhere along the cable to make this more useable. No one is going to want to drill a hole that size through their wall to be able to power / connect the camera. I drilled enough to get the power cable through and left all other cable connections outside in a extra small waterproof box instead.The SD card is internal. I am not sure who thought this was ok in the design, as its a disaster, and completely limits the use of the memory card. Not many people will want to dismantle the camera to change the SD card, and once mounted this would mean stripping the camera off the wall and then stripping down!! A terrible idea to a great cameraMaybe with some slight changes then this external version can match the internal version eventually.
