Great for a redfoot tortoise
Used when bathing a red foot tortoise. It dissolves easily into the water, barely needing to be mixed. The price is suitable for what it is, a reputable brand providing a high quality product. When using 3-4 times per week, it will last me around 3 months with the bigger size of reptoboost. The pack comes with a scoop inside the tub, sometimes you have to dig around the powder to find the scoop. The scoop works well, but it can be difficult to reach the bottom of the tub sometimes.Pros:✅ Dissolves easy✅ High quality✅ Suitable price✅ Suitable size✅ Lasts a whileCons:❌ Scoop can be hidden when first opened❌ Difficult to scoop when running low

Good all round product to have in.
Never used this stuff before but I believe and trust the company, having used their products before. Having this around is better than not and can be helpful as a reassurance and piece of mind.Helping your loved ones and trying to improve their way of life in any way has to be a good investment. This will help am sure. so I do recommend a try.

Very well accepted by my spur-thighed tortoise.
Recommended by the vet for my tortoise to get vitamins. I thought it would be another thing she would turn her nose up at.She immediately started drinking and kept drinking for ages

Always keep some if you house reptiles at home
Reptiboost is a high electrolyte concentrate powder that is designed to provide a high intensity glucose shot to captive reptiles. It is most frequently used by amateur herpetologists when their animal is exhibiting signs of illness, lethargy, or as a general 'pick-me-up' following veterinary medication and treatment. The bitter smelling powder is mixed with water as per the ratios on the tub, and then the animal can be bathed in the mixture for a short period, or you can offer it in the enclosures' water dish.As expressed on the directions, the mixture is sugary and sticky, and is therefore a food, for microorganisms and bacteria to grow. So, after bathing your reptile in it, you should then rinse them off with clean water. Likewise, if you use it in a water dish, be sure to replace it every day.I used it for a few weeks daily last year, bathing my elderly female leopard gecko, when she was feeling a bit under the weather and following a vet visit. So she would have a bath in this for 5 minutes, just deep enough to cover her legs and touch her abdomen. Whilst in the bath you can encourage the reptile to drink some by dripping it on the tip of the nose. After the 5 minutes, I would then move her to a clean water tub to rinse it all off.The one downside I would point out with using this product, is that when using it to bathe a reptile, sometimes the stress of doing so, the stress of handling, and the strange environment, on an already unwell reptile, may outweigh the positives that the product provides, if that makes sense. So for my poorly leopard gecko, yes the product was great, and no doubt helped her, sometimes the stress of giving her frequent baths wasn't worth it. So leaving her alone sometimes could prove equally beneficial, and would spare her the stress. Even so, this is still a staple, world renowned product that both professionals and myself think every reptile keeper should own.

Gave my poorly Leopard Gecko the boost she needed
My Leo had not been eating for over a month and I was getting concerned.I took her to the vet and she recommended this product, and if she didn't eat the next day, I would need to Syringe feed her.I bathed her in 1/2 scoop of Reptoboost with luke warm water and let her soak for 10 minutes. She gave it a few licks but didn't drink that much, however she will have absorbed some. When I put her back in the Vivarium, I offered a wax worm and she instantly took it and has been eating well since back on her normal diet of crickets.would definitely recommend if your leopard gecko hasn't ate in a while and you are concerned about the lack of vitamins they might have. This is assuming that there are no other health conditions which is what the vet confirmed for me.
