Not used it, hopefully I don't have to.Well packed when it arrived.I have this in my pocket while walking as my panic alarm is around my neck.Feel more safer now I have this as well.

I purchased this product for my girlfriend after she began working late and had to walk to the bus alone. It wasn't as big as I expected it to be however I am under no illusion that it would carry out its intended purpose without trouble. Before giving it to my girlfriend I performed a quick test, the dye shoots out very fast and in a single stream like silly string. it feels like being shot with a water gun...I imagine if it hit you in the eye it would hurt A LOT, not to mention the dye distorting your vision. The lanyard and retractable cord are okay however the cord is not long enough for it to be reasonably attached to anywhere on your body and to be deployed effectively in an emergency, however this is an optional feature so I won't let that fact take away any stars.What did take this product from 5 to 4 stars was the dye, the description states "Farbgel will dye the assailants face and clothes for SEVERAL days", unfortunately this is not the case. As mentioned above I tested the product and after only a few washes and moderate scrubbing the dye looked like nothing more that a slight rash, and after just 2 days of general movement and washing there was no trace of the dye at all. however the main protection from this product isn't the dye but the deterrent distraction it will give a person if they are attacked and i can assure you it will do that

I've not actually had to use it yet in my job as a female cabbie but it is most certainly a good deterant with many noticing it around my neck and mistaking it for pepper spray. I've checked with several police officers to make sure it's legal and as far as they are concerned it's the same set up banks use for money boxes and it's just identification ink. Apparently another cabbie firm has got wind of me wearing this product and is supplying all of his drivers with one.

I've had this since April and it does make me feel a bit safer carrying it about. I've not had to use it in a real situation thankfully but I wanted to know it works should I have to. Well we all have that one friend who will do most thing's, mine let me spray him in the face with this and believe me it works haha. Day three since I sprayed it and he still looks like a red Smurf 😂 face, neck and hands all stained trying to wash it off. I'm laughing typing this out as he's still had to go to work like that pahaha.

Nutter next door keeps trying to break in and with numerous threats to us and the police doing zero. Last time they were called they noticed the gel and said..... 'if you use that I will arrest you for using a weapon with intent'. When I tried to show him the Amazon page he refused to look at it. I'm glad I served only for my own police to do nothing about protecting us in modern Britain.

Tested this and the Safe Haus version.This one stains skin better and trigger harder to press.Sprayed this and the safe haus onto each hand then put under running cold water.The safe haus came off easy and didn't stain skin.The farb gel took some scrubbing to remove the foam and it stained skin.The safehaus trigger might be better for older people or children as its not so stiff.
