8W USB Soldering Iron with Stand, Solder, Replaceable Tip

This unit arrived D.O.A. I took a quick look at it, and couldn't find the problem The tip was loose, and in general, it just felt like a shoddy product. For price I paid for it, it wasn't worth returning, so I chucked it into the garbage can instead of driving to UPS to use Amazon's very reasonable return police. . I did keep the very small bit of solder as a consolation prize of sorts. Cool Tools gave a similar unit to this a recommendation, so I my have been unlucky.I use a Weller Portasol most of the time, and that's what I will stick with.
