Just don’t.

This, in conjunction with the rest of the products offered in this line of remote car starters / PKE door controls / security systems are all duds. To be fair, the company warns that installation is not for everyone. I was certain I’d be able to figure it out, and I did… in a month or so. I wrote tech support and never received a response. Instructions were very poorly written and the only reason I figured it out was by learning auto wiring and downloading my specific vehicles wiring diagrams (good luck finding one for your car!). I finally finished the install, only to have the whole system due and become useless within 3 months. Please, take my word for it… not worth the headache.

Works with Subaru

My factory Remote Start stopped working; it wasn't transmitting the chip code to override the anti-theft security. This device is working well and allows me to remote start my Forester again.I have the red "+" wire from the device connected to a "+" source that is only on when the ignition is on so it does not have constant power. When I activate the factory Remote Start, it powers this device which transmits the key chip code to the security pickup in the ignition and the car starts every time. You do need a chip code key that is programmed for your car to put into the box.Whether you connect it to constant power or not, it will allow any key that can turn your ignition on to work even if it is not programed for your car.

Delicate but works perfect

I was a little skeptical at first however I can say for a fact that it does work on Subarus that require a chip in the key when placing your key in the device be sure to pre-shape the wiring connector ribbon and be very careful not to damage it because you can actually break the solder joint not a big deal if you're careful well worth the money

Works Awesome!!!

Works awesome, just a note : you can't turn the ignition with a blank key if it has a chip in it. It will interfere with the key chip that is in the box, and will not let the car start. I had to cut the chip out of the new key in order for it to work. Once I realized that, it worked flawlessly.
