Skechers Sport Men's Afterburn M. Fit Mid-High Sneaker

From my husband. They are so comfortable, our company requires it's employees to wear black or dark grey slip resist shoes, and these are hot. I work outside on an airport ramp in South Carolina and it's summer time. Hot and muggy weather all summer long. My legs and feet are not tired and aching, like when we had to wear steel toed boots. They hold out the rain as long as you don't splash around in deep puddles, or drag your feet through them. The hot rough concrete is eating up the sole of these shoes, just looked at them today and losing tread, still comfortable shoes.Update: the upper is fine, still look good, no issues even though I have dripped Jet A fuel on them for over a month. The sole is another story no tread left, had to order new boots to retire these Skechers. If you don't have to walk all day on rough concrete (8hrs) then these shoes will be fine. Again, very comfortable shoes thanks to the memory foam!

I admit it I was skeptical of the quality but decided to take a chance. I'm a big guy who wears a 14 EEEE and I'm on my feet all day. I've tried a lot of shoes and boots but most left my feet killing me by the end of the day. When these arrived the build quality was o.k and the fit was fine. I wore these for over a week all day at work before writing this review in order to give a real perspective of the fit and comfort of these boots. I'm extremely hard to please but I'm happy to report that these are some of the most comfortable boots I've had the pleasure to wear in a long time! I'm not kidding I get home at night and no more sore feet! I really like the looks of the boots as well and the 70 dollar price tag I paid is another big plus! I'm thinking of buying a spare pair of these jems just to have a back-up. If you suffer from feet pain and are looking for a boot to help give these a try I don't think you'll be disappointed

I like the shoe, it looks good and is comfortable, it fits somewhat on the small side however. I used the sizing chart and read the reviews and went with the same size I get in New Balance shoes. In New Balance I wear an 11.5 4e, I went with the same size with these. The width was fine but the shoes were to small, my toes were hitting the end and the top was pressing down on my big toes. I sent them back and went with a size 12. The size 12 fits fine in the length and the width was unchanged. I don't think these are quite as wide as New Balance in the toe box so if your foot is really wide they may not work for you. They feel very light and the foot bed is very cushioned and comfortable.

I love these shoes. I have wide feet. Between Sketchers and New Balance, I have few options for comfortable shoes. This brand fits like a proverbial glove. The shoes offer excellent ankle support. I have no issues with my arches but there does not appear to be anything unique to the brand about the arch. These shoes have good width for my toes. The only critique I have is the insole. Memory foam never lasts long.This is my second pair and the memory foam seems to retain the cushion for only a couple of months. I don't think this is a specific issue with Sketchers, as I have had other shoes with memory foam that did not retain the cushioning either. My podiatrist gave me a pair of thick inserts that helped add comfort to the shoes.Overall, no brainer. I would buy another pair when needed. These shoes are the ones I wear most often.

There seems to be a defect in manufacturing or in the quality of materials. I’ve had several pairs and there seems to be some consistency with the boot tearing out on the outside little toe area. This happened to two of the pairs I bought. I love the comfort but the lack of durability is an issue. I wouldn’t buy this boot again.

This is a very good, sturdy shoe that fits as expected. The insole is extremely comfortable. I recommend it for hiking/ walking.

As a guy who spends most of his time at work walking, I need shoes that will last a long time and keep my feet comfortable and supported, especially since I have to walk on hard linoleum floors. These Sketchers sneakers somewhat fill these demands. The last time I ordered work shoes on Amazon, I made the stupid mistake of ordering shoes with extra width, which made my feet slip out of them pretty easily. I decided not to buy my shoes with extra width anymore and went with a size 12 fit. And they do fit...slightly. Sure my feet don't slip out, but they aren't very stationary inside them. But they do provide comfort for my feet, however the padded insole in my left shoe has already started to wear away at the toe after a couple of weeks wearing them. I don't work that many days or have many hours and the padding has started to get worn out. I think it's mostly my fault since my feet keep sliding around in the shoes. I guess I should've ordered a size 11, my feet must have shrunk. But what is the shoes' fault is that they don't do well on wet surfaces, even though they are supposed to have strong traction. There were a few times where I almost slipped. Nevertheless, these shoes are helping me a lot with work, and some of it is my fault, so I can't really complain.

My husband bought the composite toe for work. He loved them so much he ended up wearing them everywhere. I bought him and my son a pair of regular ones for Christmas. They love them. They say they are very comfortable and true to size. Seem good quality too (my son is rough on shoes). They look nice. Both wear these more than tennis shoes. My son is very picky about his shoes. He often says his feet hurt after just a few minutes in even the most expensive custom fitted shoes. But he hasn't complained once about these being uncomfortable. He loves them and often leaves them on after we get home (when he usually can't wait to get barefoot!) Good for daily wear, hiking, and standing a lot.

Bought these for my husband. He LOVES them. Very good fit for someone who want wide width. He said the cushion on the bottom is great and (slightly) high top design makes this item like boots style in winter and gives better support for ankles as well. Light weight. The price for the size we bought was amazing. Highly recommended.

The front of both shoes started coming apart after 4 months of light office use.
