These are a great way to stand out from the normal plastic utensils typically used!The huge benefit to these over plastic is strength. I used it to dip out frozen yogurt, and had no issue (obviously not as strong as a metal spoon, but didn't break like a thin plastic spoon). Throughout the time it took to eat a giant bowl of frozen yogurt, I never felt the spoon was compromised in strength. That was the closest I got to using it in a "liquid" meal since I bought these in the middle of summer and soup won't be on the menu anytime soon!There is a wood taste when using the spoon and fork. It wasn't a big deal to me or my family, but definitely something to consider.I've included comparasion pictures next to an Oneida set.Overall, I've really enjoyed using these during various meals when I don't feel like using washable utensils. I would definitely buy them again, especially for a casual party or get together.Update: I finally got a chance to use these for a small gathering and they were definitely a hit! Great utensils. I always feel guilty buying so much plastic, especially for parties and events. This disposable cutlery is perfect. You will receive 100 forks, 100 spoons and 50 knives. They are all made of food safe, 100% biodegradable birch wood. They smooth and easy to grip too, great for all ages. They come in resealable, separate bags. You will also receive some pop up containers to hold and display them. These are so much sturdier than the plastic comparable ones. Hold up well to the heaviest, toughest food like steaks and even saucy pastas. Great for parties indoor or outdoor. Even great just to keep around the house, especially during the summer when my kids are using tons of dishes everyday. I love that I can feel guilt free using them because they do not harm the environment. Great product.

Used these wooden cutlery for my annual camping trip. PERFECT for all eating. The knife was sharp enough to cut meat and fork and spoon worked very well. What I liked about it was that we could either throw them in the campfire after using or put them into our compost pile we add to every year. Great price as well. So glad I found these here.

I brought these to work, and love them because no one ever seems to have a fork. Because I have so many, these will last a while. Can't beat the price and environmental friendliness of them either. Only thing I can see might be a problem is the wooden taste it adds to food. Doesn't bother me, as it's wood, but some at work didn't care for it.

Ordered these on a lightning deal before the holidays and I will definitely order again. I set them up at Thanksgiving, giving guest the choice of using these or regular silverware. Everyone wanted to try these out. These looked good and I had less dishes to wash after the meal. They seem very durable. Was wondering if we would get splinters in our food and/or mouth but that has not been the case. We live in an area where we burn some of our trash and these take longer to burn. Continued to use after the holiday and will be ordering more soon.

They do not have a strong wood odor. I looked at several random pieces and did not find any splinters. These are quality made. The knife holds up to normal foods- it cuts thru apples with ease. I am really glad I got these. I am extremely environmentally friendly and I love having these around for picnics and BBQ's.hey are a must-have item if you love the earth!

PERFECT for my wedding. It was between 50 and 70 degrees at my wedding. I LOVED knowing I was loving/protecting the earth by using these and not regular plastic. The only own side is they have a small dry/wooden taste.
