I was worried that the audio extraction might not work well enough, based on other reviews. But this being the only reasonably priced unit with 5 HDMI ports, I bit the bullet and ordered it for my parents for Christmas. So far it has worked perfectly! Really pleased with the quality and hope it will last for a long time. I have a PS3, HD-DVD Player, and separate DVD-Player all going into the box with a Optical Cable taking the audio from there to an older 5.1 receiver.Will update this review if it stops working or I encounter any issues down the road.Side note: The automatic switching detects any new signals coming in, so you have to be careful about the order you turn things on. But if you mess up you can always just switch inputs manually using the included remote.

Works great, having 5 inputs is a lifesaver and makes switching to various devices effortless and automatic; along with the audio capture it works very well. Remote is also excellent and has everything necessary to handle the input switching and digital audio extraction format. I really don't know of any downsides or issues, maybe it could be a bit smaller if the HDMI connectors were rotated on their side?

This arrived with good packaging. It looks nice, but it's feel is a little cheap. Placing the battery in the remote was a little tricky, but I figured it out. Plugging the HDMI cords into the unit was sort of difficult and I was afraid I might break it if I pushed it in to hard, but eventually I got it plugged in. After it's all said and done, it works! I'd recommend this product to friends.

It works great! It solved my HDMI HD Copy Protection HDCP problem: a new TV, old audio receiver, Fire TV, PC, DVD... all those devices didn't work well together, I was getting blank screen frequently. After connecting my devices to the HDMI Switch --> Audio Receiver --> TV everything work great!

Pretty happy with the switch as it works on automatic and with the remote. By automatic, when you plug a new source into the switch it senses it and switches to the new source. Only problem is that the box is sometimes triggered by the cable box remote.

Works Great. If only one usb device is active it automatically switches to it. If more than one, handy 123 or up down button works great too. Some of the other ones require one to have 2 or more devices powered on to work. This one does not.

Was a great unit when I first hooked it up. Very easy and nicely configured unit. Unfortunately mine only lasted about 2 weeks and now will not turn on. Unit was vented and had great location to avoid heating issues. I did notice unit was rather warm after few hours of operation. So I kept and eye and would feel it. Remote worked fine and all HDMI devices going into we're clean and crisp to TV, the HDMI out. The optical feed to sound system worked perfectly. Sadly, I did not get the Amazon protection plan on unit. Unit didn't even make it 21 days.

Quit one night. I was trying to figure what was wrong. Unplugged for 10 seconds and back up and running! Wahoo
