Thumps up easily get lost
The Thumbs up easily falls of when getting your Leica out of the Photo Back.So I lost mine.

Like this Grip
Nice grip and definitely worth buying for the Q. The Q only has an indent for the thumb on the back which is not deep enough and too slippery at least for my hands. This grip solves that problem and you can hold the camera with confidence. The grip slides into the hot shoe. My only complaint is that occasionally the grip will slide out by a couple millimeters so you just push back in all the way. Certainly not enough to fall out but can be annoying. This is a good value considering that the Leica brand grip, which looks exactly like this one, cost around $130. Highly recommended.

Works as well as the matchtechnical version
Works as well as the match technical version but for a lower price. Does not screw in place, but seems to stay in fine. Easier to remove if needed as well. Strong metal build, with foam to protect the camera at contact points. This helps with one handed grip and operation of the Leica Q without blocking any functions.

A Great Addition!
The thumb grip really brings back the feel of my M6s. The Q fits in my hand better with it and I have had no issues with it coming out of the hot shoe. I am a professional photographer and make lots of frames on my equipment, put the thumb grip and the Q through the test day after day in Venezuela. No issues with either. A great accessory for a great camera.

Not as comfortable as the built-in recess on the Leica Q
I bought the Thumbs-up Grip based on several reviews that indicated it is preferable to the thumb recess built into the Leica Q. I did not find this to be the case. The thumb recess on the Q feels natural and offers a secure grip on the camera.The Thumbs-Up sticks out substantially from the rear of the camera and creates a problem when attempting to fit the Q in a camera bag. My advice, shoot without the Thumbs-Up for several weeks to determine if you think it is needed. Not for me.

Does the Job, multiple ways to grip
Well designed for the Leica Q. Ads some added grip that may be desired and pairs well with additions accessories such as a half case or the Leica grip and finger loop. No complaints, thanks for a great product

A wonky grip
This Thumbs Up Grip for Leica Q does the job but pressure on the thumb rest loosens the plate in the hot shoe mount. It then feels wobbly until you push it in the few mm's it backed out. It works as a grip but when handling a camera of this quality having a wonky part is a disappointment every time you pick it up.

Too loose
This is well made and is pretty much the same shape as the Match thumb grip, but it's WAY too loose in the shoe. It wobbles around and you have to continually push it back in. Lasted one outing and back it went.
