I was expecting no perfection at all, however the adapter does what it supposed to do ! Focus old beautiful lenses, give them new life, it has it's flaws ( mine freezes up once in awhile and forces me to turn off my sony a7riii) the focus mechanism is not quite or silence at all! it makes a particular sound but it doesn't bother me ... it focus fast and it does it well ...Even eye focus is available, on the center of the frame is more accurate, the corners not so much... face detection works like a charm it detects it immediately, I just can wait to see what techart comes out with on the next firmware update so far so good... Oh and the close focus distance is a bonus! if you looking to mount your camera with the adapter on a tripod be ready to spend more money on a battery grip like I did so the bottom of the adapter wont block the quick release plate of the tripod head.

Bought this adapter for Sony A7ii/ Voigtlander SF lenses for my extended overseas travel.Fit and materials were on par with price.The auto focus function is not working at all, i hear the motor trying ...and trying...but gives up.My bad for not testing the unit before leaving on a trip.Will need to figure out how I can replace or return this from overseas. Not good.
