Q: It uses battery alot? Its the 3rd time I am changing battery in a month.

I have only had my timers for a couple of weeks. Haven't changed the batteries yet. I have this double model and the single hose model too. They are used every morning.

Q: Read that the timer piece should be vertical. How important is this? My faucet height is too low for the device to be vertical once attached
