My students love this book.

Very underrated book! Love the sloth included in it!!!

Once a month I send my 2 year old grandson (who loves to get mail) a book. He is fond of sloths. He has a sloth bedtime stuffy. He was delighted with the book and sent me a video thank you of him reading…”slowly, slowly, slowly.” I plan to add this book to my Kindergarten class library as well. Eric Carle’s books are beautiful, entertaining, informative, and have predictable phrases that offer pre readers an opportunity to “read” along with you or independently.

Love this book you can use your imagination and use the pictures to have your child interested in reading time.

For my purposes the book is fine but it was rather banged up - especially at the top of the spine. This was rated good condition. I will stick to only very good condition in the future

I gave this as a gift to a first grader to help her with reading as she does not like reading but loves sloths. It was a very cute book, but there are a few words that are pretty big like "lackadaisical". Over all though it is a super cute book with great pictures!

Very cute book. I bought this to read to my son, and at the time my mom was on a sloth kick too. Her favorite animal is a koala but at that time, the sloth was a close second. We kind of went a little sloth crazy. I also bought her a stuffed sloth with wires in the legs so it could hang wherever she wanted.Anyway the book was adorable. It's around the house somewhere and my son is now learning to read himself, so I want to find it for him to read when he gets a little more fluent.Whether your child is reading themselves or you are reading it to them, I would recommend you look at it. For me, animal books are always great, and it's nice to find a cute book that's not overly childish.

Were so busy in these days. Reading this to my grandchildren reminds me to slow down and smell the roses. Hopefully they will remember not to get caught up in the rush of this life as they grow.

It's a very colourful book about a sloth and the other animals it meets. It's very cute, it helps children understand that it's okay being who you are and that we are not all the same! Plus at the end of the book there are two pages with illustrations and names of the animals you meet in the book
