Someone tried to take bolt cutters to this lock, but failed. In the process, damaged the lock badly and I couldn't remove it myself. I ironically had to take my own bolt cutters to it, and after some serious effort, managed to cut through. So overall, like any lock, not impervious to a determined individual, but it saved my bike and punches well above its weight-class given its slim, lightweight design.

Tigr's customer service is amazing - I dropped my lock while riding once and my cylinder stopped working. Tigr sent me a replacement almost immediately.That said, someone cut this lock like it was nothing and stole my bike.Know what you're buying - a quick, lightweight lock that may deter thieves when locking up your bike for a few hours.It's definitely not an overnight lock solution - for that, a sturdy u-lock won't eliminate the probability of theft, but it will at least make it more challenging for some bolt choppers (which go through this in literally no time given the flat shape).

I commute by bike, and I have to carry my bike up and down a flight of stairs 5 days a week. My bike is an e-bike that weighs 50 lbs without any gear attached. After adding a rack, trunk bag, lights, etc., it's probably up to 60 lbs. The bike is fairly expensive, and I work on a university campus, so I need a lock I can rely on. I originally purchased the  Abus Bordo GRANIT X Plus 6500/85cm (33.46 in) black - Folding lock, Bike lock, Security level 15  because of it's high security rating. But it's SO HEAVY!!! It's almost 5 lbs., which means it adds 10% to the weight of my already very heavy bike. Hauling my bike PLUS that lock up and down the stairs was just too much.Now I have this lock. I love this lock! It's so light! It barely adds any weight to bike. It's also easy to lock. I like that I can remove the barrel, position the lock, and then replace and lock the barrel without the key. The security rating on this isn't as high as the ABUS, but I see so few of these in the wild that I don't think your average bike thieves are prepared to break this lock. At least I hope not.As an added bonus, my e-bike has a cage mount on it's battery, and that's where I've attached this lock. So when I remove the battery to charge it, this lock serves as a very welcome handle for the rather heavy battery. :)As far as I know, no one's tried to break my lock yet, so I can't say for certain how secure it is. But it has a good rating, it feels secure, and it's light and easy to use. So I'm happy.

The lightest locks ever! They work!! I have the New York Fahgettaboudit u-lock and I thought that would work by itself, however, it was too narrow to fit my bike frame, tire and the pole. So I had to buy another lock that was wider. I found this lock and it is wonderful! It's super light, it's very sturdy, easy to take on and off my bike. Unfortunately, I have a woman's bike where I have a step-in bar and I am not able to mount this to my bike (but I carry it in my paneer bags everywhere I go). My husband loved it so much he wanted one too. My first one I ordered through Amazon, my second one I ordered through TIGR site and if you tell them you want matching keys for the 2nd lock and provide them your key code, they will mail you the Tigr lock with the same matching keys and all the keys open both locks. Love it! Now I can rescue my husband with my keys if he loses his key of if we ride together we only need one key to open both our locks.Recently at work, there were three bikes on our outside bike rack and two bikes from our bike rack were stolen. My bike was the only one that was not stolen. I believe the other bikes had chains on them and someone was bolt cutting the chains. I had this lock on my bike and there was no attempt to bolt cut this device.

There are a lot of options for bike locks and many cheaper options. I have watched and read many reviews on various types of locks and this one stood out. I wanted something light weight and large enough to lock up two bikes and most importantly keep my Cannondale safe from being stolen. Weight was the biggest issue I have had with chains and u-locks since I have spent hundreds of dollars on wheels, crankset and other parts to drop my bike below 21 pounds. The last thing I wanted was a five pound chain wrapped around my seat post when I go out on weekend rides around town. Sure you could get a cable lock but those can be cut with a pair of side cutters.The Tigr lock is stylish and fits perfect on my bikes medium frame. It is perfect for locking up and leaving outside in a crowded area but not sure I would trust leaving my bike outside overnight. Honestly, I don't of any lock that is full proof if a a theif had a large enough bolt cutter or grinder. It is relatively thick and the new U design allows me lock two bikes or wrap my rear wheel and frame around a post.If you have a bike that's worth more than $500 and want a lightweight but strong lock then this is the one. However, there are other options much cheaper if you don't mind a a few more grams.

I ride my bike to work every day and until last week I was able to park my bicycle in my work area. A recent change in company policy states that employees are now required to park their bikes in the company parking lot. Up until now I didn't need a lock and so my I began shopping for one. The lock needed to be both strong and lightweight and my search ended when I came upon the Tigr Mini. I work with titanium steel and know how difficult it is to machine and therefore, tough to destroy. I also like it because of its ultra light weight and this is why I chose the Tigr Mini+ Lock. The only weakness I see is in the lock itself which could no doubt be easily picked by a professional locksmith. However, I do work in a town where crime is very low and our gated parking area has surveillance cameras. Also, the other bikes don't have Tigr Mini Locks so It was an easy choice.

They market it as a serious lock, but I echo the other reviewer who said you should know what you are buying with this product. It is a lightweight, "I'll be right back" lock. Don't make the mistake I made and rely on it as a long-term theft deterrent. The bike thieves had no problem clipping this lock one night and making off with my bike. Caveat emptor!

シェファードシティ2017年モデル（サイズ460）のシートチューブには、シマノのアダプター使っても取り付けられませんでした。もう一方の商品のTiGr Lock mini（+なし）の方なら、ギリギリトップチューブをかわせたかもしれません。仕方なくダウンチューブに付けていたボトルケージを外して、シマノのアダプターを使って、そこに取り付けました。マウントが安っぽい樹脂製なので、いつ割れるかわかりません。ロック本体をマウントに装着する時はワンタッチなのですが、外す時に爪を開いて外す必要があります。付属のスペーサー？は使いませんでした。アレ必要なんですかね？専用のネジは3㎜のレンチが必要です。ロック本体ですが、鍵部分は頑丈そうです。今までダイアル式のワイヤーロックでしたので鍵を持ち歩く必要になったのはちょっと残念。プレートは…うーん、どうなんでしょうね。デフォルトでは40㎜程度開いているのですが、それより大きな物にロックしたい場合、開かなくてはいけません。経年劣化は素材的になさそうですが、金属疲労で割れそうな気がします。重量は、見た目や大きさほど重くないのはいいと思いました。買う際にはフレームのジオメトリと、この商品のサイズ表を見比べて買うことをお勧めします。（2020/04/14現在amazonのページには表はないですが）

装着時にフレームのデザインに溶け込んでカッコいいです。が、いくつかの問題があります。・取り付けたときにトップチューブと干渉して、そのままでは取り付けられませんでした。　ボトルゲージの位置をずらすパーツがシマノから出てるのでそれでギリギリ解決しました。　三角形のタイプであれば干渉しなかったかもしれません。・ホルダーがやや緩く、走行中にガタガタ音がします。　ベルクロテープで隙間を埋めることで解消しました。・鍵の回りが悪くなり、開かなくなります。鍵用潤滑剤（シリコン系）などを吹いてもほとんど解消しません。　幸い、鍵の部分のみパーツが別売されてるので、それに交換することにしました。　１年経過せずに交換が必要になってしまったのは残念で、コストパフォーマンスは悪いです。　やや重いので本格的なロードバイクには不向きですが、街乗り用で使っているバイクにこれからも愛用したいと思ってます。

確かに安心感は凄く都内の散策にはこれを持って行きます。但し独特な形と大きさのせいで収納に困る。ホルダーもあるけど結局カバンなどに入れて他の荷物が入らないし、鍵かける時も掛けられるシチュエーションに制限あるのでめんどくさい。自転車の値段とかにもよるけど都内でも割り切って盗難保険前提で太めのワイヤーチェーンのみでも良いかもね。

今までABUSの540や410などを使っていましたがこの商品がアマゾンで買えるので試しに購入。軽くなりバックパックを背負うこともなくポタリングが出来るので大変快適です。ロックする場合もU字で出来る場所ならこちらも同じように出来ますし、柔軟性も多少あるのでこちらの方がロックできる場所は多いです。ただ、シートポストに留める場合はアダプターが無いとダウンチューブのボトルと干渉するのでそこは-1点ですかね。まあ堅牢性と軽さを天秤にかけ短時間のロックなら十分検討する価値のある商品だと思います。

買って半年かからずで何回も鍵を抜き差ししないと開かなくなり閉める時も何十回も鍵を押さないとしまらなくなりました。もちろん定期的なメンテナンスはしています。
