Swiss+TechFillet Knives for Fish, 5-Piece Fishing Knife Set for Filleting and Boning, Floating Foam Handle with Carry Case

I've been using this fillet knife to work shaping styrofoam on a model railroad layout. I've carved on a full 4x8 sheet of 2" foam at this time and like the knife's flexibility, feel in my hand, and (apparent) durability. It's still sharp and still cutting like new. I'd imagine that if it's used on fish, this would last a very long time. Handle is slightly spongy which makes it very comfortable in your hand and still have good control over the blade, etc. I'd buy again especially if it was for the intended purpose of filleting fish.

I bought a 9-inch first. I liked it until I bought 7inch I love it. I bought it to use on the boat but I use it in my kitchen every day. I enjoy using it. I love it. I love the feel of it. I like the black blade and the handle. It's kinda of soft but not too soft. It's stiff soft. I control the knife easily. It's fun to use. I look forward to using it. Unreal price for the knife. I got plenty of them, maybe 15. The knife floats and is great for the boat or camping. I will buy more of these.

I like high-quality knives at a budget price and this is one of them it does everything I need to do. Of course it is purpose built for cleaning fish and it does a good job.

These knives were dull when I got them. I sharpened them but they dont hold a great edge for long. You can find better ones. You get what you pay for I guess.

I am impressed with this "Swiss+Tech 9" Fillet Knife for Fish, Fishing Knife for Filleting and Boning, with Floating Foam Handle&Protective Sheath (Fillet Knife)". It is plenty sharp (out of the box), and the blade is a tad flexible, which is a good thing, as a filet knife. It may not be the best knife I have ever used, but for how much it cost, it is totally "worth it". I can throw it in my fishing tackle bag, or my toolbox, or with my camping gear. I wouldn't be too unhappy if I damage it or lose it.
