They work good But....
We put in a dog run in our backyard for our dogs to do their business in one location instead of all over the yard. We bought these for night time lighting as that side of the house gets quite dark. The lights were easy to set up and I installed them on every other PVC fence post with the provided 3M double stick tape. They give nice white light and provide a good amount of light for that area but its not over iluminated. They appear to be of semi good quality however my one gripe is They claim the outside housing of the light is stainless steel. This is untrue as they are already starting to rust and they're less than 2 months old. Great light for the price but I won't be buying them again.

Great to start - bright and long lasting
We were very happy with these at the outset. They came with enough charge that you could unequivocally tell if they were ON or OFF by covering the solar collector. If on, they light.The switch is on the back (mounting surface), so if you mount with double-stick foam tape, they should be, and will stay, ON. (Word to the wise: v2 should have the switches on one end, where they can be accessed even if the units are mounted with double-stick tape or some other permanent means. They come with mounting hardware that is NOT permanent: two screws (each light) with wall anchors allow for removability.)Why the hedging: I have another set of solar-operated lights that have failed in less than one year due to overcharging the batteries in the Florida sunshine. Do these lights have sufficient charge management capability to avoid ruining the battery in a heavily lit location over the long haul (a calendar year ... or several)? I expect we must learn by experiment, which is now underway

Lights the walkway to my deck.
I used these lights on my boardwalk to my deck and also around the deck. It puts out a great amount of light at night. Very pleased with them.

Outdoor fence lighting
I like the way that they bright up at night, but occasionally when it rains hard they tend not to come on at night, there's a possibility that it may not have enough sunlight, but overall I think they're great.
