Don't buy. It is worthless.
This product is not worth buying. It doesn't do what it is supposed to do. The readings are abrupt, random and inaccurate. Money wasted, had to return the product. Refund is still awaited.

Great way to test your indoor air quality.
I've wanted to test the air quality of my living space for a while and this device does just that. It's simple to use, can be calibrated to your outdoor air quality to increase accuracy. I discovered that my home is a bit too sealed up and could benefit from some air exchange! High levels of CO2 can lead to brain fog, sleepiness, and general listlessness. CO2 levels are detected in ppm or Parts Per Million. The higher the CO2, the less oxygen you're breathing, hence, the lower air quality. Levels under 700ppm are considered good. Outdoor air quality, depending on your location will be around 400+. You can also set an alarm level which will sound when it passes the set threshold. This is a very useful device for quickly testing the local air quality. I've tested the air in my basement, bedroom, car, office, among other locations. Rechargeable and cordless, it's very convenient to use. Backlit display can be turned off when testing at night while sleeping, and to conserve battery power. In addition to CO2 ppm, it also displays temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and humidity. I have literally been carrying this thing around with me to test the air quality wherever I go! It's pretty amazing. There is a slight delay when you turn it on but it seems fairly accurate, although the only way to truly test the accuracy would be to have an alternative and trusted device for comparison. If you are curious and scientifically minded, you'll find it a useful, intriguing, and reasonably priced tool for testing, indoors or outdoors. I can't recommend this enough.

Easy to use CO2 monitor
When I first received this CO2 monitor I was impressed with the packaging. The quality of the packaging was similar to what you would expect with high end electronics. It came with the usb cable needed to plug it in but you have to use your own USB adapter, which I’m sure most people have plenty of. Once I let it charge I followed the steps to calibrate it, which was easy to do.I have no other way to check my CO2 levels but I will say that after calibration I trust it. The temperature and humidity readings match the values listed on my homes thermostat. If I stand near the unit the CO2 raises, if I pick it up and breath into the unit the CO2 level goes really really high, when I took it outside the reading dropped, and after I’ve been away from home all day the reading is lower. All of those are exactly what you would expect it to do. It only has a few buttons for the basic functions of turning the alarm on and off, changing the temp scale from Celsius to Fahrenheit, turning the unit on/off, and turning the backlight off.My only critiques about the unit is that just off of the battery it will only last about 24 hours with the backlight always on, so if you plan to always leave it on to measure CO2 it will need to be plugged in, or charged daily. The backlight is pretty bright, which is great in a well lit area but it’s a little to bright IMO in a dark room.Overall if you need to know your CO2 levels (I was trying to decide if I should add a HRV to my homes HVAC) then this unit is easy to setup and the CO2 level is incredibly easy to read. It worked perfectly for my needs.

fairly accurate for the price
The display is really clear and easy to read, One of the best instruments displays I have used in a while, even better than expensive medical instruments used in hospitals. The temperature and humidity measurements are more accurate than my nest thermostat. The CO2 reading is good enough for the purpose (I did not have to calibrate as it was already giving me accurate reading (410 ppm) outdoors. When I have all the doors and windows closed in my home. and running the AC. The CO2 levels rises to around 500-600 PPM overnight. When I cook things on the gas burner and have the windows closed it further goes up to 650-700 ppm. When I leave the windows opened and turn on the roof ventilation. The CO2 never goes up more than 450 PPM. During Covid its really important to have the CO2 less than 800 PPM this instruments helps me undesrtand the importance of ventilation in helping reduce Covid spread.
