Nice, Fun, Beginner to Intermediate Model... Plus Electric!!
I dabble a bit with the uke and lucked into a fantastic expensive VOX electric model. My 15 year grandaughter has been interested in learning so I started looking for options. I found this one. The ratings were good for the price range so I bought it for her. birthday.Once she opened it, the first thing we did was tune it. It tuned with very little fiddling. My grandaughter says it seems to keep tune well and she usually only tunes it at the start of a session. It was relatively comfortable to play and my grandaughter was immediatel able to play chords. The strings are inexpensive but not terrible for a beginner, besides better strings like from Aquila or D'Adarrio are not very expensive and are easy to put on. The sound was decent, in fact pretty good for a beginner to intermediate instrument. We did not get to try it with an amp when I was with her, but she did play it on an amp at a friends house and called me just thrilled with how it sounded.Bottom line... A good modestly priced uke that performs well and is suitable for a beginner or intermediate player... plus it has the fun option of connecting to an amp

Really good for the price!
Very satisfied! I'm a complete beginner and have never even held a ukulele until now, so maybe it's bad quality and Im just dumb, but it sounds good to me and can hold a tune for a while. It does have to be tuned after a little while but that's a minor inconvenience. My only issue is that the case is very cheap but I wasn't expecting it to be great anyway so overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

Very solid for the money!
So I never got tracking updates on this uke, and it arrived a day late. If it had been a day later Amazon would have refunded me. Don't know if that's the fault of the seller or UPS, but I'm happy it came. The included bag is very cheap (with no padding) but at least it came with one. Obviously the nylon strings are brand new, and it will take time to break them in before it'll hold tune, but you know to expect that if you play nylon strings. I tested it for dead notes, and the only one I found is the very last fret on the A string, but no big deal, I can't even reach that anyway. If it had been in the middle of the neck I would have exchanged it for a new one. This thing is otherwise decently constructed. All the fret ends are flush with the fretboard and they've been leveled and crowned on top. Everything is attached tightly and it feels sturdy. The top does seem to be real spruce, mahogany back, sides and neck, and the fingerboard is either rosewood or pau ferro. Unreal selection of woods at this price point, I expected basswood. Nice bracing on the inside too. It has a satin finish over the whole thing, feels great in the hands. This uke definitely punches above its price point. If I upgraded to a bone nut and saddle it would probably sound close to ukes 5-7x its price.Overall four stars. It arrived late and has one dead fret, but is otherwise very decent. I got lucky and my dead fret was the 18th one, and only affects one string, but that should be the first thing you check if you order one. It's definitely worth the money though, it sounds pretty good and I'm having fun playing it!Update 7/30/21: I don't know how I didn't see it sooner, but this uke is in fact round on the back, not entirely flat. I only noticed when looking at it from the bottom at an odd angle, but this is awesome at this price point. A round back helps it to project its sound better, and it really does help, this is one of the loudest and best sounding ukes I've owned. My A string is starting to fray behind the nut after about 10 days of play, but I expected to change those anyway. There is also a small amount of dust painted under the clear coat in a few spots, but I'm the only person who would ever notice that, it's really not an issue. I would buy again in a heartbeat if it were lost or broken.
