The best sound and value at this price!
I had read lots of reviews on mid-fi and hi-fi audio blogs about these and their older sibling, the New Primacy, and was sold that Oriveti are making some of the best earphones for your money. At around $99, these are excellent daily drivers- great bass response without being heavy-handed, smooth mids, and clear and present highs that aren't shrill or piercing. Plus it comes with MANY duplicate pairs of tips and a detachable cable. Can I give this an extra star?

"TREAT YOURSELF"
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. TIME TO MOVE UP? If you're tired of your music always sounding the same maybe you need to invest in a better sounding set of earphones and hear what you've been missing. People have often told me that today's earbuds all sound great and they are all pretty much the same. "WRONG".That's because the majority of people have never listened to a quality set of earphones. If you are like me and really enjoy listening to music, all the hours you spend listening to music are certainly worth a few dollars more to hear all that a really good set of earphones can provide.I started playing music professionally when I was 15 and am now 74, but even though I'M RETIRED I still like to hear music the way it sounded, coming out of the studio. I played trumpet and percussion and "TOO MUCH BASS" can often cover up a lot of what's going on. Vocals, horns, many instruments that sound in the higher frequency range add a lot of color to music and these earphones, although they are called "BASIC" models, can really enhance what you're listening to. These come with a 1 year warranty and have replaceable wire, should they be damaged. The earphones are very durable and should last a long time, with proper care.So cancel a few dinners out, save some money, and invest in a set of these. YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!Better clarity video on you tube WP 20170625 004 BLUE TOOTH easy with a B.T. receiver.---ENJOY!OOPS--Mistake on the video, the cable is about 3 feet long! You'll find ORIVETI is a great company to deal with, and they really stand behind their products!!

Underrated and deserve far more!
A very underrated and underappreciated pair earphones that punches way above its price. I've been using the Shure SE215s which are renowned for being decent sounding earphones for their price but they have been outperformed by many newer offerings since then and the Oriveti Basics are one of them. This review would be mostly a comparison between the Basic and the SE215 (which are well documented on the Internet).Compared to the SE215s they are clearer sounding with much better textured sub-bass and much less mid-bass that some might find annoying on the SE215s. Mids are clear with both male and female vocals being properly represented and are about on par with Shure's earphones smooth mids in terms of quality. High are smooths but slightly recessed but has no sibilance so they might not be a strong suit for those looking for a brighter sound, these are definitely a pair warm sounding iems. Overall if you like the sound signature of the SE215s, you'll definitely love those!

Sound affected by crackling
I purchased these earphones and initially was really impressed with the sound quality and the build. Unfortunately they have not lasted; they crackle and the sound cuts out eg when walking. I have tried these on various devices and the problem remains the same.

Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.
