Adore [Blu-ray]

This film is very complex and at times you question why you love it but the acting is great and the scenery is beautiful. Two women who are best friends, grow up together, marry and have beautiful sons which they take as lovers later on in life. That's where the complexity comes in but the story is well written and all the actors are beautiful.

Enjoyed it immensely. Had a little problem with how the boys reacted to the other one having a relationship with his mum, but it's in the plot a d works out in the end.

If any woman believes that sex to a young boy is the same as having sex with a young girl, should watch this movie. It is not the same. Two best friends grow up, get married, and have boys. One looses her husband to death, the other by divorces. But they are left in this idealistic beach setting. The two woman still beautiful, and coming into their prime sexual age. It is by accident that the relationships begin, but they find them so enjoyable, they can't stop. But what is missed is that both boys go on and find young women their own age and soon father their own children. What is never explored is what did the boys learn from their tutors. They were good husbands, despite their trysts with the older women. A young man needs an older woman to teach him how to satisfy a woman. We don't know anything, and understand less, and by the time we learn how to do it correctly, we are too old to do it right. This is not the same with a young girl. I was saddened by the ending but not surprised. I was a good movie.

I bought the Bluray version on ADORE a few weeks ago on Amazon. I love this movie. It is a movie that I can watch many times. On my new 4K TV, the Bluray version makes the ocean look real. This movie has a lot of skin in it. Plus, it is well written, well directed, and well acted. It has a plot that you will not expect. The 4 main characters are all very hot. Sex is a big part of the film. Taboo sex mainly. Filmed very well. I rented this film on Netflix before I bought it. Then loved it and bought it on Amazon. It is best that you watch the film and be surprised by it rather than my telling you the plot. I love this move. Glad I bought it.

Naomi and Robin delivering a brilliant performance, the real acting of the top skilled actresses. The film is perfect:: screenplay, directing and especially acting including the young actors as well. Wonderful story, if you are a real-movies fun you'll enjoy it! Watts and Wright once again showed us ... and so on... I'm simply speechless... Don't miss a chance, this is not a typical Hollywood garbage (2 Guns for instance), this is art work our best actresses and talented director.
