Don’t give up
Bought this for my old mum whose sight is failing. I spoke to a guy who fitted mums tv aerial about remotes with big buttons he said they’re too complicated but I thought I’ve got to try something.Read the description of this and thought it sounded fairy simple, no code entering etc. When I started reading the instructions I thought there’s no way I’m going to be able to do this. Then I watched the video a couple of times, I’m quite technically minded but I need a dummies guide to everything.Works perfectly, I was worried that when I set it that would be it but you can change it. The guide was clear and when the penny dropped I realised how simple it was.You can’t programme every channel it’s just an up and down channel changer so if you want say 101 you have to press it 101 times. You can however preset the small button to your fave channel but I’m not sure if you can program it to a channel with double figures but mum only watches 5.Mum loves it she’s not afraid of changing the channels and pressing the wrong buttons anymore.

Just perfect for the elderly.
Excellent product and so easy to program. Just make sure your tv is IR and not RF.Such a great idea and my elderly mum can’t press the wrong buttons anymore and lose her picture.Thank you TabTime.

Lovely big buttons - Simple to operate.
After reading some reviews, I was not sure on getting this. Glad I did, it has made such a difference for my 98 year old Mother. Very simple, lovely big buttons. She has had it for a few weeks now without issue. In terms of setting up, watch the video, read and follow the instructions. I made a mistake on my first attempt, but worked perfectly on my second and no problems since.

Easy to use
Easy to program and use. Good for an elderly relative ( to use not program !) . Might need to write clear directions on it with marker

Waste of time
Got this for my elderly mum and spent over a hour trying to match it to the tv . Only managed to put the volume up with it but not down !! Rest of the buttons dont work . Total waste of time and effort . Returned this , don’t waste your time .

Look good, not compatible with Virgin Media remote
The media could not be loaded. The best bits.. just a few large buttons on the remote for changing the volume and the TV stations! Perfect just whats required and makes the remote easy to operate. The worst bits... I could not get it to synch with the channel up and down buttons with two separate Virgin Media remotes for my Virgin remote and my mums (video attached - see how it rapidly pulsates when I programme the volume up and down buttons, but nothing when I attempt to program the channel change up/down buttons). Also holding the volume up/down buttons did not automatically increase or decrease the volume with the tv for me. I had to press the buttons repeatedly to get the volume to increase and decrease.

For ALL LG Magic Remote users.
Important info for all LG users. I was going to return this remote as I could not get it to program with my LG magic remote. I could get the power button to work, but none of the other buttons (volume up/down etc). I searched the internet but found nothing. I then thought, is the Magic Remote IR or Bluetooth? The answer is…both! To program the TabTime, you first have to turn the LG magic remote Bluetooth off. To do this, press and hold the back button and the Home button simultaneously until the power light turns red. You can now program the rest of the TabTime buttons. To re-enable Bluetooth and get the pointer working again. Press and hold the back and home buttons again for about 10 seconds. Remove the batteries, wait a further 10 seconds then replace the batteries. You should now see a message on the TV says g that the remote is paired.
